Pet Express is a great deviation from the tradition national chain pet store. They sell lots of different pets and everything you need to take care of them. They have all types of merchandise for regular to exotic pets. Their dog even greets you when you walk in the door. The prices here may be a bit more than the national stores, but it is well worth it for the personal attention you get here.

George's Southside is located conveniently on Highland Road. This restaurant has great food and a laid back atmosphere. The food offered at George’s is mostly American with a few authentic Cajun dishes to be had. They also have seasonal dishes. You can eat there for less than ten dollars a person, so it is a great bargain.
