Not my best restaurant experience...

My experience at Mel's was by far the worst restaurant experience I personally have ever had. The hostess was very rude and slow. Spent ten minutes organizing menus instead of sitting my guests and I. The atmosphere was very dark, drab. There weren't any windows where we were seated. Our waitress was in a miserable mood, and very slow. Our drinks were never refilled, our meals were ok. In all fairness, the portion sizes were good. If it wasn't for the way the staff had treated my friends and I, I may have considered returning. I am sure many people have had wonderful experiences at Mel's, and think it is a great restaurant. The lack of what I consider to be good customer service, just ruined the experience for me. All I can say is, you will have to try the restaurant yourself and form your own opinion. What I have written is solely my opinion based on my own experience.
