Henna Chevy is a huge car sales lot that specializes in Chevy trucks and cars. They have a huge new car lot, and a nice size used car lot too. They have a nice sales group, who are not there to pressure you into a sale. The finance office was very quick and made sure my paperwork was complete. They searched around for the best rates, and got me the lowest price in town for the truck of my dreams.

Showplace Lanes is located right off IH 35 and Rundburg Lane. The lanes have been upgraded and modernized. The snack bar has some good food at a reasonable price, and the service is great. The alley is crowded most week nights for league bowling, but go early and you can have a blast. They have bumper bowling for kids too.

Texas Baptist Children's Home was the location my daughter scouted out for her wedding. I like the fact that they don't advertise in the wedding pages, making it much easier to book a date for a wedding. The staff was wonderful in unlocking the church, but stayed out of our way and had very few restrictions on decorating the church. They have a sound system, beautiful chandeliers, and gorgeous red carpet.

Wonder World Cave and Park is an ok attraction. I like that you can buy one ticket for all attractions, which makes it more affordable, but I don't like the cave. It is very steep, has very tight corridors, and is very wet. Not a good place for kids to visit. The animal feeding park with deer is ok, but the deer can get over aggressive and try to climb in the train with you. The gravity house is pretty cool though.

Volente Beach Water Park is right down the road from Austin, right on the Lake. They have water slides, pools, a kiddie pool with an awesome pirate ship, and Jacuzzis. The price is great for such a cool place, there is plenty of parking and it is easy to find. Next time you are in Austin come check it out!

Peter Pan Mini Golf is located right off Barton Springs Road and Lamar. They have 36 holes, divided into 2 courses. The place is pretty deserted during the day, but at night it can get pretty crowded. I love all of the animals and other items on the courses to play through. They have been around a long time, and show their age in the flaking paint, but the course is still amusing and fun.

The courses are still well maintained, offer some challenging holes, and is not crowded like some of the amusement places in town The prices are affordable, and it is cheaper to buy a 2 or 3 course ticket than just for 1 game.

They host tournaments, both regulated by Wizards, and just local players. They have great prizes for the local tournaments and really good turn out on all of the tournaments.

Dart Bowl is located back in a neighborhood off 2222 and Lamar Blvd. Because it is so well hidden, it never seems to be crowded and there is always plenty of parking. They have a restaurant inside that serves decent, but greasy food for a really good price. The staff is nice, the alley is clean, and the prices are great(use coupons to make it cheaper).
