Excellent Italian Food in a Crappy Location

As we parked near the razor wire fence, we were a little nervous. I wanted an Italian food carbo loading meal prior to the New Mexico Marathon. We chose Paisano's (I have no idea how) and simply followed the directions and showed up. The location felt dicey, but the restaurant was great. Once we were inside, it was like entering another world - comfortable, cozy, colorful, and friendly. The food was great - standard northern Italian stuff - exactly what I wanted.
