When we went to the room in the middle of the night we noticed that the heater was barely heating the room. Expecting that it will get warmer as it goes on working, we waited the whole night. It was January and the outside was freezing. Not to freeze inside, we slept with our coats and checked out the next day. In such a cold season it is failure not to keep inside warm enough.

We've recently bought a pair of ski boots for my husband. My husband suffered a lot from his ski boots so we decided to a give try to Surefoot. The service was perfect, they tried various kinds of boots to find the best fit. After adjusting the boot to his foot's shape, they suggested us to ski some time to see if it works. If it does not, we were suggested to go back and show the parts that does not fit well. After a couple of visits, my husband had the perfect-fitting boots. If he experiences any problems with his boots any time in the future he can have his boots freely adjusted in any of Surefoot stores. What a service!! Of course, the downside is boots are expensive. But if you are experiencing problems with your ski boots it is the perfect place to go.

The elevators: another mass. There is an elevator from 1st to 6th floors and another one from the 6th to the 10th on the other side of the sixth floor. So, if you are staying on a floor above the 6th level, you have to change the elevator. In addition, the elevators on the north and south sides are not connected. Once, by mistake, I took the south side elevators up to the 8th floor (changing elevators!!) then I realized that there is no connection to the north side. Then I had to go all the way down to the first level and take the north side elevators! What an inconvenience!!!

It's one of the oldest restaurants in Chicago and has a real German taste. If you like meat (not just beef) you will like this restaurant. Portion sizes and prices are reasonable. They have a special selection during the October Fest.
It hasn't been renovated for some time but you will feel like the environment. Also, the waiters do not bother you by jumping into every conversation you started.

The food is good and there is a lot of variety: from pizzas to burgers, from fish to pastas. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. They are serving Italian style (brick oven) pizza so I would expect to see "extra virgin" olive oil n the table! Not that professional!!!

I would not recommend going there with your casuals: customers seem to wear formal clothes. When you go there with your jeans you feel kind of awkward.

The food is tasty but not real French- French food meets the American taste. Ooh, of course, the portion sizes are too large for French.
I would not recommend it for a romantic dinner but it is good for a Friday night meeting with friends!

Maybe they have a variety but don't have friendly salespersons. We were checking some ski pants and they made us take only two pants into the dressing room at a time with a reason that the dressing room is small. Well, we were fine with that. Anyway, we were leaving the ones that do not fit on the table next to. The salesperson warned us that we should not leave them there "because the manager does not like it" and that we should put them where we took...That's very rude!!!
We'll never go there again...
