Every Friday there is an easy decision to make about where to eat, for anyone who enjoys large portions and fish fry. The Sterling Place tavern is a wonderful restaurant and has a great fish fry (or poached if you are health conscious). For under $7, you get a large fish fry and any combination of potato salad, pasta salad, French fries and/or cole slaw. While there is mainly one person that runs this small restaurant the service is great, and they have a bar with quite a selection. I've been there 3 times in a couple months and if you have saved room by the end of the meal a neighborhood elderly woman bakes pies for them to serve every Friday.
