When I was a Cadette, I went with my troop caravanning to Ten Sleep Wyoming. We went through several states and camped under the stars. It was a lot of fun.
This is a good learning experience for any girl up till her Senior year in high school. Who knows maybe some of the Seniors will go on to be leaders.

It is one of the most elegant and beautiful buildings that I have ever seen. Anyone whose anyone visiting San Diego will be sure to stay here. There are restaurants and gift shops and decks to stroll about underneath the stars.
The staff is exemplory and will bend over backwards to suit your needs.

My credit union uses the Red Lion quite frequently for meetings for the entire staff or a select few. There banquet halls are quite spacious and there catering is absolutely delicous and spread out on serving tables beautifully.
The hotel is always neat and tidy and very beautiful. I am always greeted when I arrive for a meeting with my company. The staff is professional and courteous and informative. They have a beautiful pool that is very inviting in the summer.
I believe we may have had a Christmas party here in one of the banquet rooms and I had a great time.
If you have guests coming in be sure to put them up at the Red Lion.

I've lived in San Diego for around fifteen years and finally went to Seaworld a few months ago. It is a lot of family fun. Loads of attractions to see and the Shamu show is spectacular!
There's a lot of walking, but, so much to see and you probably won't see it all in one day. The group of people that I was with went on the "Ride to Atlantis?" over and over again, we stayed there a half hour!!! There is so much for the kids to see, feeding the turtles and there is a petting area.
The food is all overpriced, but, that's normal for an amusement park.
Try and get a year long pass, there's always new things going on that you need to see.

This is a do it yourself dog wash where for a few bucks you can bath your friend and not some stranger. There is a big tub for them to climb into and plenty of space for the soaps and other things to help wash your pet.
There's a seating area to brush your dog before the bath and plenty of supples to use to bath them. I just loved the name too.
I also love the name, because I lived in North Park for a while and there is a South Park, so South Bark. How clever!

I have used Carl's Rentals yellow trucks for the last three moves and may have to move a fourth time. The location I use is in North Park San Diego and is streets away from where I lived.
They rent out the trucks, dollies, packing blankets and you can buy boxes, packing tape and whatever else you need.
You can reserve a day in particular, however, on that day, it is first come first served for anyone having a reservation on that day. And, you MUST be the first one at the door when it is the last days of the months or you won't get a truck or you will get a bad one.
Be sure and inspect your truck before leaving as they are older trucks and you don't want to be charged for other's mishaps.

I completed my four Microsoft exams here to earn my MCDBA certification. I never had a problem get a time slot on a Saturday and the staff are nice and professional.
In addition to being a popular testing center, Vortex Data Systems provides computer and software training classes in preparation for earning certifications from IBM or Microsoft, etc. The instructors have to be certified in their field, as well as, certified as an instructor.
I like this testing center because it is easy to get to and easy to get the time slots that I need. Check out what Vortex can do for your computer career!!

I love this car wash. I've been taking my Rodeo here for over 5 years. And the workers do a very good job whenever I get one of their mini-details 49.95. I like this place because of the fact that it is a touchless car wash and my paint won't be scrapped off. Sometimes though, there are spots of bird poop that are still on the car and I end up flicking it off with my fingernail. All in all, I've been happy with how the guys wash my car.
There is a free rewash if it rains shortly after the wash with receipt.
They have plenty of seating area where you can wait for your car and a little convenience store with greeting cards, chips, pop and even ice cream.

I enjoy the fiction section with books by Dean Koontz, Johnathon Kellerman and James Patterson to name a few-- the mystery/suspense authors. The books are grouped together by author and easy to fine.
The store owner always has a book in his hand and is ready to give a recommendation if needed.
You can browse or read a bit, there are chairs scattered amongst the shelves.
