You can go to The Links at Mariners Point to hone your golf skills on the driving range, or practice a short game on the chip and putt course (9 holes) they have. Or, you can do what I do and go there to have fun on the putting course. Putting courses are not prevalent, and they're very similar to miniature golf you may find at a amusement park, but you use an actual golf putter and golf ball and try to sink your ball into actual holes. I guess the idea is to simulate the green on a golf course, so you can practice your putting skills, but they designed the course such that there are hills at different places and even sand traps. The best part of the course is that they actually move the holes around on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Putting is pretty easy (but hard to be good) and anyone can enjoy it. I would recommend it to anyone.

One of the more famous attractions in San Diego, Sea World is worth a visit during the summer to cool off from the heat. They have three major attractions: rides, shows, and the animals. As you can guess, the rides are mostly water related and that's how you can get wet or really wet. The shows are somewhat interesting but nothing spectacular, although if you're going to watch one show, make sure you go see Shamu, the world famous killer whale. I had a good time there, but the admission ticket is a little pricey for me and I doubt I would actually visit Sea World too often.

My boss recommended this place to me and I go to them for oil changes. They are very courteous and professional. I can usually just call them up to tell them I want to get my oil changed and they can squeeze me in that day. If you need some work done on your car, you can give them a try.

This is one of my favorite places to get milk tea. The surprisingly thing is they also have simple meals that are very reasonably priced (and also decent). I especially like their lunch specials where you order a rice meal and you can get a green tea or black tea for $1 or other milk teas for half off. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the atmosphere is always very relaxed and there seems to always be people there drinking tea or eating. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys milk teas.

This is my resort of choice when I travel. Most of the Worldmark resorts are rated five stars by Interval International, so you know at least there is a certain level of quality. The first time I went into this Las Vegas resort, I was blown away by the unit's spaciousness and general luxuriousness. My friend had to ask me where the bathroom was because of the spaciousness. The best thing I like about it is the full kitchen they have, stocked with all the pots and pans and silverware you would need, and six spices (for a touch of home feel to it). Another thing I really like is that every unit comes with a washer and dryer. If you're on vacation, you don't need to worry if you've packed enough clothing. Unfortunately, this place is not open to the general public and you need to be a club member. (Maybe that's fortunate for the club members)

The museum concentrates on four different collections: Antiquity, Byzantine and Medieval, Tribal, and Twentieth Century Art. For whatever reason, the most comprehensive happens to be surrealism, so if you're interested in that, this is a great place to visit. The collection includes pieces by Paul Cezanne, Henri Matisse, and Pablo Picasso. They rotate their exhibits, so you can visit this museum many time. Best of all, admission is free!

If you ever visit Houston, one place you have to go visit is the Space Center. Here, you can see the command center where all the famous Apollo mission took place. They also have a different galleries where you can play with the usual science museum "stuff" and other galleries of actual space ships. I enjoyed reading about the different missions that took place over the years as well as seeing how the space shuttles evolved over time. I even got to touch a moon rock! Recommend it for kids and adults alike.

For some idiosynchrosies not found anywhere else, you can check out Minute Maid Park. For some reason, they decided to put a hill in centerfield. This is to get the centerfield extra workout to catch that fly ball. To make his job a little bit more difficult, they have a flag pole at the top of the hill. Another interesting tidbit is the train engine sitting on some tracks on top of the left field wall. Whoever an Astro hits a homer, you'll hear it from the engine as it goes streaking across the top of left field wall. Oh yeah, the baseball is pretty good too as the Astros manage to always make things interesting in recent years. The fans are friendly too. You can root for the visiting team without much consequence.

They sell everything from resistors and capacitors to consumer electronics. The prices there are pretty good and I seem to recall they have a lowest prices guarantee, but that does not apply to online prices as you can usually find things cheaper online. That said, it's still good to go there to check out what you want to buy and if you don't want to bother looking for a better deal online, you can just buy it from them. Also, they have a 30 days exchange policy that is really good if you didn't like what you bought. For some products like laptops and cameras, it's only 15 days though, so you need to read the fine print. This place beats any department details you may normally buy your electronics from.

The reason that I've gotten my hair cut here? It's not the price because there are definitely cheaper alternatives elsewhere although their prices are reasonable for a haircut (less than $20 for a men's haircut). The service you receive is not bad, although I doubt people go there because of the excellent service. The haircut you get is again, of sufficient quality that you don't mind paying more than the cheapest haircuts out there. However, the best thing going for this place is the location, but that is probably only useful to you if you live nearby. But if you do, you may want to try them out when you're too lazy to go elsewhere.
