Run of the mill amusement park

If you're looking to get entertain, maybe this place will do the trick for you (or not). They have quite a few rides that are pretty good, but certainly the park designers are not going for scary rides. Lacking any better alternative in southern California, if you like roller coasters, this place might have the best ones. Having been to Cedar Point in Ohio, I have to say that this park was quite a disappointment for me; however, I would expect that most southern Californians haven't been to Cedar Point in Ohio, so this is probably an exciting place.
