This Hollywood Tans is located in the West Village between a bookstore and a coffee shop and near the A,C,E,F,V trains.
Among the tanning salons, this is one of the better known ones. I wouldn't recommend the traditional bad-for-your-skin way of tanning but they do offer great air-brushed tans.
This location is getting new air booths for better results and less missed spots. The booths are vertical booths instead of bed and they do offer tans with UV protection.
A friend of mine, who is ghostly white, swears by the air tans here. I've seen her with her fake tan and she looks great.
So if you don't want to expose yourself to the sun even if you're wearing a high spf, then this is a quick, easy, safe way to get a tan.
