I walked into this floral shop when I needed to buy a thank you gift for a friend. I had always wanted to enter this shop because of the beautiful displays outside the store and because it's on a cute, quiet street near NYU.
For some reason, floral shops intimidate me; maybe it's because I don't know flowers that well by name and I always think the salespeople will be snooty.
But I was pleasantly surprised to find that the employees were very nice and helpful and didn't make me feel silly for asking the name of each flower. I was able to pick out a beautiful bouquet and have it delivered a couple of hours later to my friend.
All in all, a friendly yet upscale shop with reasonable prices and friendly help.
