The Bayard Cutting Arboretum is a fantastic place to visit, especially in the spring when most flowers and trees are blooming. I highly recommend checking out not only the mansion, but all of the different walks and trails at the park, as each features a different variety of flowers and trees. I especially enjoy the walks near the water, where there are park benches every few feet so that you can sit and enjoy the scenery. Or, bring a blanket and enjoy some time in the shade on one of the great lawns.
