This restaurant is famous for its seafood, and rightfully so. It is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The prices are very high, but the lunch set is decent. They specialize in fish, though other types of seafood is served. They also offered one or two options of meats such as steak and lamb, for those customers who prefer a good piece of meat. The service is attentive and friendly, though the atmosphere is definately very posh. Coat and tie is definately required for men, and if you don't bring your own coat, they can even lend you one.

This ice cream joint is very popular among Princeton locals and students, but pretty much all the ice cream flavors have candies in them. This gets a little much. The lines at Thomas Sweet Ice Cream often goes out the door. They also have ice cream cakes, which are reasonably priced, nicely decorated, can be made to order and can also be bought right in the store when you want it. This is a great place, if you like ice cream bursting with candy pieces. If you like your ice cream simple and nice, this is not the place for you.

Halo Pub has about 40 different flavors for you to choose from, and the scoops are pretty inexpensive. Strawberry heath bar crunch is particularly tasty. However, most of the flavors are pretty generic, so if you want something unique, this is not the place for you. Halo Pub just opened Halo Fete next door, which serves ice cream desserts (ice cream infused into tarts and pies etc.)

Finale serves great desserts and they have even started to serve savory dishes. The hours of the Finale is not as convenient though. I tried to walk in for a dessert (during afternoon tea time) but they only offered take out at that time, and I could not eat there. However, their desserts are very good, and the chocolate desserts are very rich.

This is probably the best Indian restaurant I have been to. The menu is quite extensive, and some items are unique, and I haven't seen them at other Indian restaurants. For Indian food, it is somewhat pricey, but if price is a factor for you, then go for the lunch buffet, which is priced at just under $10. Tamarind Bay is in the basement of a building, so from the outside it looks somewhat shabby, but they did a great job with the space they have.

All dishes are served at bargain prices, and there is a wide selection of dishes, though the most popular ones are noodle dishes. The restaurant also servies bubble tea, a popular drink consisting of tea with tapioca pearls. The service and decor are both decent.

The service is pretty slow, but the food is good. The miso-cod is especially tasty. Unfortunately, this restaurant has very strange hours, and is often closed when I walk by.

Ajihei is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Princeton. It serves very fresh sushi, and is made to order right in front of you. Most of the seats are right in front of the sushi bar, giving a great view of your food while it is being made. The menu, however, is very limited, as sushi is pretty much the only food served at Ajihei. And it is very pricey too - for the same amount, you could probably go to a good restaurant in New York City. Ajihei is located in the basement of a building, so the location isn't great.

B & G Oyster serves the freshest seafood. Although the menu is not very extensive, the dishes they do serve are all very high quality. the encrusted cod with sorrell cream was amazing as was the scallops. All the appetizers were scrumptious. B & G Oyster's location is pretty good, though it looks rather dingy from the outside. In the summer, sit on the patio instead of indoors, it's a lot nicer. The interior of the restaurant is rather claustrophobic, though the food more than makes up for this.
