I recently went to Stephanies on Newbury, wonderful food, quite pricey and very snooty! So if you're trying to impress someone, this seems like the place to be on Sunday mornings! The portions are very large, so they aren't skimping, but expect to pay about $15 or so per dish. I noticed a number of people sharing entrees. The most ridiculous thing was that they had muffins (very average ones) for $4.95 - that was ridiculous, but other than that, it was very nice.

While I was unable to use this photographer for my wedding as she was booked on that date, I had a friend who used her and ended up with the most amazing wedding pictures.
The photos were so classy and unique, not cheesy posed photos as done my so many wedding photographers. By far one of the most elegant photographers I saw in the DC area for the reasonable prices she charges.

I received a gift certificate to this wonderful little lingerie boutique from a friend at my bridal shower. The place has the most perfect selection of lingerie, bras, underwear, pajamas, and other items.
The staff is very friendly and they have a really wide selection of styles, sizes, and colors for such a small store! I highly recommend this place!

If you are looking for a cake to take to a small event or get together, this place has cakes that many people looooove. Personally I didn't like the taste of their cakes at all , but they have a good fruit covered cake. Their prices are very good and their cakes are huge, but I personally was not impressed with the taste at all. The place is incredibly popular with the local crowd though!

this cake place was sooo talked up when I was shopping for a wedding cake. I went to one of those “bridal shows” and tried their cakes there, they tasted like something out of a cake mix box??? I was really surprised since I had heard so many rave reviews. Yes their prices are very very reasonable so if you are on a tight budget its better than the grocery store cakes, but I wasn’t impressed with their cakes at all.

I went with a friend to purchase a gift at this store. The store has a VERY large selection of very different styles of silver jewelry. Their styles are different from many other more typical silversmiths, much of the items seem handmade and one of a kind. They carry all sorts of necklaces, barretts, brooches, rings, earrings, etc. Their prices are very reasonable and its fun to look around.

A really unique store in Washington DC with a fabulous selection of rings, necklaces, bracelets, brooches, etc. Many of their items come from estate sales, so they are really one of a kind.
They also have a great selection of engagement diamond rings for all sorts of occasions. The staff is very kind and helpful and the place is just a joy to visit.

IF you're interested in paying a lot of $$$ for used jeans, then this place has a great selection. Really, they have a wide selection of jeans and such, but their prices are just ridiculous, I don't see the point of buying expensive old jeans, but that's just me. I think its pretty much the definitive vintage denim store in the DC area however.
