For a town the size of Lufkin, I'd have to say I am impressed with it's mall. It's definitely not something to show-off to visitors but it's decent for Lufkin.
The mall contains the usual dept. stores like Bealls, Sears, JCPenney's and also has some smaller stores like Gap, Kids Gap, American Eagle, and Motherhood Maternity. You could kill and hour or two shopping at this mall.
This mall has two features that I really love. The first is a cute kids area at one end. It has an enclosed play area with seating for the parents. The kids love it, but it can become very crowded some days. The second thing I love about this mall is their party rooms. They have two nicely decorated (kids themed) rooms where you can hold your child's birthday parties for a small fee. They have the smaller tables and little chairs. Very convenient. We've had several parties there.
