This place would of gotten 4 stars from me because I waited about 70 minutes to get a table for two. On friday and saturday nights, the wait can be ridiculously long. My friend really wanted to eat here so I had no choice. The food is pretty good here and the portions are generous. However, I am not a big fan of waiting in line. The service here is friendly and it took me about 25 minutes to wind down from waiting in that line. There are no chairs to sit outside while waiting and the inside area to wait for a table is very limited.

Finally a decent place to go after or before the movies. All the ice cream here is homemade. Probably the best ice cream I have ever eaten in my life. They even have sandwiches, burgers, and french fries. The have the best tasting french fries. Their rocky road ice cream is made with walnuts. I asked them why not almonds. Well to my suprise, rocky road ice cream make the classic way is with walnuts and not the cheap almonds you find in the store. Each time I come here for lunch or late dinner, I make pledge to get some other flavor of ice cream but always go back to rocky road and the cookies are good too. This is a wonderful place to bring the kids. They even have a window where you can peek at them making the ice cream. Service is fast and friendly but most of all FUN for the kids. If you enter the store, you can see all the drawings the kids have made for them. A great place for Walnut Creek. Service here is always fast and friendly. If not, let one of the managers know and they will makes things just right. I love this place.

Great atmosphere. Try the samosa appeitzers. The drinks here true to form meaning that they don't water down the drinks. I could eat here everyday. There are dishes for vegetarians. No wonder this placed is aways packed on Fri and Sat. Unlike some businesses in the Castro, these guys really care and give back to the community through sponsorships.

Think Used car lot. Yep, think of this place as a used car lot where the sales people are desperate toward the end of the month and are ready to make deals. They basically can charge you any price. Always buy the SPORT level, all clubs. It offers the most flexibility. If they say this is the cheapest and prices will go up, that is a FAT lie. 5 years ago, I joined the Costa Mesa Sport before it was built. I had to pay $632 for 3 years (price includes an initiation fee) and after the 3rd year, it was only a $99 per year renewal.
The trick/catch is that you have to pay in a lump sum. Do not sign up and let these guys debit your bank account each month. They will charge you a processing fee. Never let anyone do this. It is your money, you should control it. I was able to negotiate and have them charge the $632 in two credit payments. 1/2 the first month, 1/2 the 2nd month.
One you give your club a test drive. Yes, you should test drive it to see if it fits your schedule first. They will hard sell you if you have a free pass. I see them take people for tours all the time. They show you the pool but are you really going to use it?
If you are sold, make sure you are getting an ALL club SPORT level membership. It will cost you $599 for the 1st 3 years, pre-paid. Then after the 3rd year, it should renew at $49 per year. Much cheaper than what I paid. The $599 includes an initiation fee. Do not let them fool you into paying an extra one. Since you are paying everything up front, there is NO NEED for them to get your social security number.
If you are a savy negotiater, you can also get 4-5 free training sessions with them, a free sweatshirt, or a towel. You can negotiate over the phone and call every single location until you get the best price.

If you like fish, then this is a place for you. The aquarium is a non-profit organization. There are plenty of fishes from different parts of the world, crabs, and jelly fishes. They also have a big octopus and some rare fishers. Each fish habitat is well constructed. These people really care about the fish. Then go outside and play and pet the sting rays (they stingers are removed) and sharks. You can even watch a live feeding of the animals. Then there is a bird habitat where you can buy nectar and feed them. Just hold the cup and the little birdie flies right up to you! There is a handwashing station for clean up. Right now, they have this promotion with whales. I did not get this, I thought it was a whale show or movie but it is a big model whale and some kiosks. There is a 3D honda theater which has a separate cost. I say skip this commercial because it took me a while to adjust to the 3D glasses. I think they are perfect if you have kooky eyes. Use the money instead to buy some nectar for the birds. Parking is free in the garage next to the aquarium as long as you show your "guide book." This is a good place for kids and they will learn something and have fun using the "whale passport stamps." There is a chilli's not far from the aquarium so you can get something to eat before you leave. Look for deals to save on admission. There is a 2 for 1 in the Entertainment book. What I like most about the place was that it wasn't a tourist trap like the Monterey Aquarium up north.

Located right in the Ranch 99 shopping center, this restaurant serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine. My first visit here was suprising. This looks like a French restaurant. Why are the tables so clean? Why are the bathrooms so clean? The food here is....great! Who says you have to sit in a dirty restaurant to get good PHO? The portions are huge and the prices are in line with other OC Pho places. They have appetizers, rice dishes, noodles, and PHO in different varieties.

Tires come with installation, free rotation, and warranty. If somethings happens to your tire while there is still treadlife, costco will give you a prorated refund on a new tire. don't skimp on your tires.

I got my haircut here a couple of times and wondered why I kept getting ill the next day. Then I found it, it was this place! They do not clean their tools and there is hair everywhere. Even the hairwashing sink is filthy. I talked to the person who cut my hair and they claim it is not their fault but the fault of the owner who does not want to spend extra money sanitizing this place. Keep in mind this is my personal experience with this place. Yours can vary. I am not trying to ruin them or anything but using the same haircutting tools that you just used on another client without cleaning it. I am glad I never got lice. I never got my nails done here but I will not risk it. Cheap prices and I guess it is true, you get what you pay for.

Some people get sick here because the have the "mentality" of trying to eat "X" dollar amount of food. That's over eating. If you want a balanced meal, this is the place. Fresh salads that you can create yourself. The chicken noodle soup is very good. Nice big chunks of chicken. Then have some fresh apple bran or blueberry muffins. One of my favorite places to eat. If you are a CSAA member, flash your card and save 10%.

I would say BEST BUY has a lot of electronics in stock. TVs, DVD players, video games, and DVDs. However, when you need someone to help you, they are never around. Sometimes the lines are long because the employees have a "I don't give a damn attitude" In the past, they have never really cared if you bought an extended warranty, now they are downright pushy. I know a lot about computers and it is sad that some guy tried to sell me one and he had no clue what he was saying. To say that this computer is better because it has hyperthreading technology? I say do your homework on the internet before stepping in this store. at times, you cannot trust their advice. if you are buying an alarm for $189 with free installation, beware! There are many options that you will want and it can cost up to $400.
