I love going to shows at the Granada. It's my favorite venue in town. I have seen The Get Up Kids, Murder By Death, Mae, JamisonParker, Motion City Soundtrack, and other bands that adults generally dislike. The bar serves great drinks and has good specials, and the bartenders are friendly even though they can barely hear you with their earplugs in. The bands seem to like their end of the venue too. The mixboard is huge and in the middle, which is kind of distracting but I like it. When people do moshpits, the floor gives way and sometimes feels like it's going to break which is pretty creepy. It's a great venue over all.
