A little more affordable place to get a designer haircut! 9/10/2005

This place is fantastic! It's a little bit cheaper (approx. 5-10 dollars) cheaper than the actual, luxurious Gene Juarez salon entry level prices. But the Training Salon is good for a couple of reasons: If you're not satisfied, talk to the teacher!! They will make you satisfied!! If you leave, and change your mind, you can call and get a re-do, or re- touch up. They are extremely nice. In some circumstances, your service will be for free if they mess up. They have a frequent service card also, and after 10 punches, you can get a free hair cut or nail service! I've been here for about everything...except for perms. Foils, and partial foils are great. Be prepared: they do take a long time. Estimate 2 hours or less for a haircut, and 3-4 hours for foils. Acrylics are the only thing I DON'T recomment. Gene Juarez does the entire process manually, and it takes too long, unless you have tons of experience. The students here are professionals; they have already passed the Gene Juarez school, but they still lag a little on time. Otherwise, they are fantastic! more
