I was recently in San Diego on a business trip and had some time to kill one afternoon. I was in the Hillcrest Neighborhood and spotted 5th Avenue Books. They have a nice fiction section and have both new fiction titles and a used section as well. I picked up a couple of used books on the advice from someone working there, perfect for my flight back home. I'll definitely stop by there again next time I'm in town.

The staff is always extremely knowledgeable helpful, especially after I got 2 kittens from the shelter and wanted some recommendations on kitten food. With several locations around Seattle, check em out, there's probably one nearby!

I recently stayed a night at the Hotel Monaco, a sort of mini-vacation for an evening. The hotel is very cool, great color schemes and just a neat feel to it. They allow small dogs to stay, and if you request one, you can have your own goldfish while you're there! I did request that service, and it was a neat little touch to my stay. The only downside was that I reserved a suite but received a large room, which was their definition of that type of suite. That was disappointing, as I feel they should market that bit more clearly. Otherwise, very nice stay.

I bought my first house last year and contacted Erik after hearing him speak at a first time buyers class. I was impressed with his experience working with first time buyers and felt comfortable working with someone who could understand me being new to the process! Erik worked well within my money limits and showed me some great houses I woulnd't have found without his help. He or his assistants always seemed to be able to answer my questions, even when I got a bit panicked at times. Big thumbs up for Erik!

I recently went to Sangraal after receiving a gift certificate. After signing obligatory forms, I was shown to one of the massage rooms. John asked me if I needed anyplace focused on. I said no, and he then gave me what I assume was a stndard massage. Very relaxing, along with nice new age type music that definitely fit the mood. I felt relaxed and energized at the end. I'd definitely consider going back.
