I have had two experiences with Dr Shephard when he was acting as the on call doctor for my regular OBGYN. The first was the day after Christmas when I had a lot of bleeding early in pregnancy. He minimized the concern and advised me to go to the hospital if I was concerned, but there was no need to call back. This was after he knew my history of miscarriage. The second time he visited me the day after the birth of my son. He verified my name and that I had had a baby the day before then got up to leave the room. He did examine my C-section scar after my husband asked why he was leaving with no discussion regarding my health. I have never been to a regular appointment with this doctor and do not plan to based on my experiences above.
