Fred Meyer up on 80th (or is it 85th?) and Greenwood has a photobooth in it.
So does the Showbox, downtown.
Good luck.

Croc. the bar is mellow and quiet. show room is small enough to be intimate, big enough to hold crowds for most shows. the stage is elevated so everyone can see what's going on. it's grungy and dirty, but not scary like the old graceland. it always sounds great. they serve food. the beers are good - and pretty cheap. and they consistently book the best local talent -- any given night you're bound to like some or all of the lineup.
For the record, Showbox is the worst venue in Seattle. always over-crowded, always sounds crappy, always full of drunken uw packs, always grumpy bouncers, horrible restroom locations, never able to see anything on the stage b/c the floor isn't angled enough. i have banned the showbox for life (except for the calexico show this summer, for which i was forced to make a single exception because i expect the crowd will all be courteous and over 25).

I love barbeque. When i was a boy, i thought barbeque was brown-sauce covered beef ribs. How wrong I was. When I became a man, I learned that true barbeque is always slow-roasted pulled pork (occassionally, it's allowable that it be chopped -- see "Dickies" in Dallas), it's always got a tangy/sharp vinegar-based sauce that's not overloaded with ketchup and sugar, and it's almost always best on a bun with a generous helping of classic coleslaw on top.
Well, i've eaten barbeque all over town, and i've found the best. As often happens with barbecue joints, it's also the least appealing in terms of location. Rhodies fills about 100 triangle-shaped square feet of an unused corner of a gas station on teh corner of Broad/Denny/4th Avenue, just across the street from the Space Needle.
Everything's to-go -- no seats, no tables, no space. Just a counter, a drink cooler, and a guy waiting to serve you the tastiest bbq sandwich it's possible to get in Seattle.
The "Trailboss", with pork and the spicy sauce + the requisite slaw, is perfection -- more Kansas City bbq than the "pure" Carolina experience, but definitely not Texan. The true innovation, though, at Rhodies is the use of a French roll. I know, i know, it sounds sacreligious -- but here's why it works: BBQ is messy. A nice firm (but not too cruncy) French Roll has a trough, to hold the BBQ and slaw together as you chow your way through it. Genius - if there were BBQ nobel prizes, the proprietor of Rhodie's would get one for this innovation.
Go eat it.

They even offered some additional advice about how to fix a section of the interior of the fireplace, since they do masonry services as well.
Highly recommended.

These guys are quality. Our subaru outback was long overdue and they diagnosed everything quickly, gave us an honest assessment, and charged a fair price for good work on a fast time schedule. In addition, they were flex on leaving the car for us to pick up later. After we dropped the car off, they did everything else by phone. Plus, they washed the outside and detailed the inside as a bonus - try getting Carter or Melody's to do that (no chance). Highly recommended.

super slow is fine, if that's what it takes for you to get there and back. for that matter, you can walk if you need to. if you do this at least 2x a week, no matter where you live in seattle (aside from maybe belltown), you will not need a diet. in fact, you will be able to completely get rid of worrying about what you eat and when entirely. one final suggestion, and it only costs $3/day (less than curves! less than health clubs! less thanspecial "low fat" food!): take the bus to & from work everyday. it will work and it will help your city too.

...near the mountains. The best bachelor party I ever attended was up in whistler for a weekend. Given that you only have $50/person and one day (presumeably), why not hire a big van/small bus, truck everyone out to Alpental or Snoqualmie to ski for the afternoon/evening (i think lift tickets are reduced price if you start skiing after 3 p.m.), truck everyone back to the city and head straight to Pioneer Square for burgers and beers at the J&M Card Room and finish up the night at the just-tasteless-enough Cowgirls Inc? There's nothing cooler than rolling in to Pio bars in an old-school ski bib. If I had to plan a buddy's bachelor party in Seattle on short notice with a modest budget during the winter, that's the direction I'd go. Good luck.
