Torrefazione Coffee: laid back java place

(Torrefazione is not longer at the location cited in this review)
When I had offices in Seattle (I now live in Florida) they were on the same block as Torrefazione. On a nice sunny day it was a pleasure to sit outside on Occidental Mall and have an espresso. Inside is typically a bit quieter than some of the other coffee houses. They offer eight different coffee blends of varying richness. The key to telling how light or dark the roast will be is that each blend is named for an Italian city. Lighter roasts are associate with the North and darker roasts with the South. Thus, Milano is a light roast, Perugia (Umbria) and Napoli a dark roast. The different blends have different flavor characteristics. Some are delicate and other more robust in-you-face.
Their coffee can be ordered on line at www.cooking.com. I occasionally see it in hotel rooms where I have stayed. Food stores in Washington, Arizona, California and Oregon carry Torrefazione. They include:
