A longtime favorite of Jacksonville, Beach Road Chicken is where all of the locals all went on Sunday afternoons while growing up.
The decor is like somebody's country kitchen with Beach Road memorabilia on the walls.
The chicken is excellent and the fixings like potatoes, rice, french fries, slaw and creamed peas are bottomless bowls.
Excellent value for the dollar. The food is always hot and the servers always friendly.
