Hermann Park Conservancy is such a great place. Hermann Park as a whole is a beautiful park nestled in the inner loop of Houston with great things to do. The golf course is respectable and the conservancy is great. The entire area is so close to numerous residential areas making it a great place to visit and relax.

Kicks Indoor soccer is located near downtown inside the loop on Shepherd. The owners just built the facility and it is very nice. Everything about this place is great. The leagues are very fun and competitive but not insanely competitive. The location cannot be beat and it is by far the best indoor soccer facility in the Houston area. There is no reason to go anywhere else.

Northwest Indoor Soccer is located in a old wharehouse building that is pretty run down. The only good thing about the indoor soccer field. It is full size and just had a new second generation turf installed on the field. That turf is like playing on grass. The bad thing about this place is that the refs and the managers are all friends. If you aren't in their crowd you aren't going to enjoy your game. You won't get a call. Beyond that it's pretty expensive too.

This hotel is brand new and very nice. I was surprised when I checked to see how well the place was laid out. The rooms are big, clean, new, and nice. They have great wireless internet access. The pool is also nice and clean. The area the hotel is located in is great, it is right next to the lift that takes you up to a great spot on the mountain. Check out the roller coaster up there.

This is a nice place to get a hair cut. Each stylist in the shop is an independent contractor so each one charges their own price for each service they offer. I have always got a great hair cut at Shear Integrity. They do a magnificent job and are very nice and friendly people. I enjoy going in to see the ladies there to get a hair cut. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Spring Fitness is an old run down gym in an old run down strip mall. The gym is full of old equipment, it is very small, and the area is poorly organized. The cardio area is tiny and all fitness areas are in the same room so you hear aerobics classes when you are lifting. The staff is awful too, all they want is to sell you something. Do not go in the locker rooms either, it is scary.

24 hour fitness is such a great gym. The gym is always open, it is huge, and had such a great variety of machines, free weights, aerobic equipment, class and other things to do. They have a pool, basketball court, spinning room, aerobics studio, dry sauna, wet sauna, hot job and a great staff of personal trainers. The locker rooms are great. They are clean, large, and well maintained. I love this gym. The staff is always around and ready to help out with anything.

Tour 18 golf course is a very fun and unique course. Each hole is essentially a reproduction of a famous hole somewhere in the United States. For example, hole #2 is a replica of hole #18 at Pebble Beach. The course is not maintained like I would like to see it maintained but it is still a good value for the price. They sometimes run a $20 afternoon special which is a steal for the area. The pro shop is also very large and well stocked.

World Golf Houston is just south of George Bush Airport off of Greens Road. It is a very short and is maintained poorly but it is priced relatively low because of this. Unfortunately, it is priced high compared to other courses nearby. There are other courses that I would rather play because they are nicer and cheaper than World Golf Houston. The good news is that it is not very busy on most days.
