American Tailors has two great tailors who do great alterations to a wide variety of garments. Every piece of clothing that I have taken has been returned exactly as specified. The guys that work their are very flexible to get our your garments when you need them. The prices are a little high but comparable to other local businesses. It's worth the price as far as I am concerned.

Saba is a fun place to have a drink. It is pretty small compared to other bars downtown but has enough room. They have a lot of unique specialty drinks, I recommend the mohito but they all are pretty expensive. One of the neat features of Saba is the huge aquarium behind the bar that dominates the room. It is a fun place to go with a small group to have a quiet drink.

It is a well known place for people who live in the area who love their food. The food is amazing and well priced. The menu is good and the atmosphere is as advertised. Eating there is truly a fun experience and you won't walk away hungry or upset.

Every burrito is awesome and you can get a burrito for every type of taste. Parking can be scarce at time so be sure to think about that before you get there. It's fun to go with a crew of people.

They have great chips and about five to eight different salsas you can try. The restaurant is set up very well and the outdoor patio is very nice when the weather is nice. It can get busy so get there early.

My wife and I love Maggianos. Traveling to the Galleria for the food is tough but this place is worth it. They make the best Italian food, everything that I have had there has been perfect. It is a great place to meet people or to go for a romantic dinner. The ambiance of the restaurant is amazing and the service is great. I've never been sorry that I had a meal there and you'll never leave hungry.

Sambuca is a cool place where it is the norm to just chill and be seen. You've got to love a place where you can show up after work or at 11PM and people are wearing the same stuff. They have great early night specials that are worth showing up for. Downtown hasn't become the best place to grab a drink but Sambuca really helps.

Little Woodrows is right down Brazos Street from the Red Door. It is a great place to chill and have a pitcher of beer with your friends. This is the place where you can show up in flip flops and relax. When the weather is nice they open the place up and it becomes an outdoor bar with picnic tables on the outside and a pool table inside. It is a fun place when you don't want the stress of a more presumptuous bar or club.
