As far as selection goes, Top Food & Drug in Woodinville is one of the best grocery stores in the area.
They have a fabulous bakery, a great wine section, fresh produce, and a really nice garden store right out front with plants and flowers that rival Molbak's.
There is a supervised kids' play area if you want to drop your tots in there to play (versus having them beg for all they see in the store) while you shop. It's clean and light-filled.
Top is tops!

I was recently in the market for a stationary bike, and rather than pay full-price, I thought I'd try to find one second-hand.
I called Play It Again Sports in Woodinville to see if they had any in stock. The sales clerk who answered the phone was incredibly polite, told me they did, indeed, have a Life Cycle in stock and quoted me the price.
I went in the next morning to take a look at it (hoping it was still there), and as I checked it out, another sales clerk came over to see if I needed any assistance. I questioned him about the bike, how old it was, how long it had been in the store, etc., and he was able to answer all my questions thoroughly and politely right there on the spot.
I told him I needed a few minutes to think it over, and he left me alone with my thoughts.
When I'd decided to take it, he and another clerk loaded the bike into the back of my van, I paid, and was on my merry way.
I have to say that this was one of my most pleasant retail experiences in ages simply because these people have obviously been trained that CUSTOMER SERVICE still matters!
Bravo, Play It Again Sports!

I have given this Chili's restaurant many tries as I've always loved the one in my hometown of St. Petersburg, FL , but this location is the absolute worst.
Slooooooower than slow service and just plain bad food make it a nightmare every time I've been in. I've even waited twenty, yes twenty!, minutes for a DRAFT beer on a slow night in the bar. Horrible.
Avoid this location.

I gotta tell ya, I had high hopes for this place as so many people I know raved about it. My experiences here have left much to be desired.
The food is decent but, in my opinion, overpriced. My friend from New Mexico said that the food is most certainly not authentic "Southwestern;" however, it *was* most certainly edible. Slow, seemingly inexperienced waitstaff and weak, weak cocktails made our wait for our food less pleasant than it could have been.
Going in for cocktails one evening during the holiday season, my friend and I went to sit at a cocktail table in the empty bar and were told by the obnoxious bartender NOT to sit there as he'd already re-set the tables for the next day. WHAT?! I would have walked out, but my friend insisted we stay.
At any rate, not much good to say about this place. I probably won't ever set foot in there again - especially not for cocktails near closing time.

This place has it all: whole roasted chickens, prepared salads, yummy spreads, crackers, breads, desserts, even wine. I have yet to go in and NOT find something delightful to nosh on.
Staff is friendly and helpful, offering tastes should you wish to sample before you buy. They are also quite helpful with assembly instructions and quantities.
Can't say enough about this little gem of a gourmet food shop!

Confetti Junction should be your first stop for anything party related. From themed kids' parties to wedding receptions, they have it all.
Depending on the time of year, you can find Halloween costumes, Valentine's Day candy or even 4th of July party favors.
Another nice attribute of this store is their wide selection of paper products and plastic utensils. You can even get inexpensive punch bowls and servers as well. Paper products come in every color of the rainbow.
Definitely one-stop shopping for all your party needs.

While the decor and waitstaff are both quite "peppy," I just don't think you can overcome run-of-the-mill food.
About the only thing that Red Robin has going for it is that kids like it. But truly, you can get them something much better tasting and better for them down the street at Acapulco Fresh, or even Larry's Market.

Golden Chopsticks calls itself a "modern Chinese restaurant." I don't know about that, but their Szechwan Dinner for $15.50 per person rocks.
You get soup, an eggroll and depending on the number of people in your party, Szechwan string beans, Kung Pao Chicken, Szechwan spicy beef (our favorite), sweet and sour chicken, or prawns a la Szechwan.
They have other dinner combos as well or an a la carte menu.
To check out the menu: http://www.golden-chopsticks.com/
Decor *is* pretty modern, service is courteous and fast, take-out is great here, and basically, I just really like it!

It's a medium crust pizza, so if you're a thin or thick crust lover, this might not be the best place for you. It's a great place to stop in for a slice if your shopping in the Redmond Town Center and need a little something.
Kids love it because there's a lot to look at in the store, they get crayons and coloring sheets, and the music is fun. Definitely family friendly.
Fast and friendly service as well.
