Their silk flower selection is fantastic. They have a great frames section and framers on-site to help you or frame your stuff for you. There's a fantastic jewelry making section with knowledgeable salespeople who will actually help you with a smile. They have candles, paper, envelopes, an amazing collection of stickers, yarn, boxes, paint, you name it.
And, my #1 reason for going here: they will HELP you! Love this place.

The Lobby Bar mixes some mean drinks, and it's a fun place to sit and people watch while killing some time. The rooms are spacious, and their "Heavenly Beds" are, indeed, heavenly. You'll get a great night's sleep here for sure.
Definitely worth a look when you're in the market for a Seattle hotel.

Service is on-the-ball and helpful. Our server suggested a lovely Argentinian wine to go with our meal that our entire table enjoyed. (Too bad I didn't write down the name - sorry.)
But the highlight of this place is the fact that they have tango dancers to entertain you while you dine, and they are a joy to watch! If you ask, they'll even tango YOU around the place!
This is definitely NOT a vegetarian restaurant, so bring your appetite for beef and enjoy the show.

This is what I call an upscale discount store. The inventory is constantly changing, depending on what they can get at a bargain.
I've gotten everthing from scented pillar candles to baby shower gifts here. Their selection of kitchen items, including small appliances, is usually really extensive. They also usually carry a great supply of pretty napkins and wrapping paper.
This is a great place to pick up a gift for a friend or a special treat for yourself.

Bridle Trails New York Pizza (formerly Piecora's) is a great place to grab some pizza. While you can get take-out and delivery here, it's the service inside the restaurant that will keep you coming back.
Super-family friendly, the waitstaff will bring your kids paper & crayons, and they don't bat an eye when your tots scream at the top of their lungs or launch themselves over the back of the booths.
Good beer selection, specialty pies, and delicious hot rolls with garlic & butter are some of the things that keep this neighborhood restaurant busy!

The Bridle Trails Red Apple is the epitome of a neighborhood grocery store. The clerks know many of the customers by name, and most of the clientèle is from the immediate vicinity.
While the service is definitely top-notch, the prices are pretty high, which makes this my run-in-and-grab-some-milk store and not my weekly shopping store.
I'm not sure of the store's inventory practices, but I've also gotten some bad meat and cheese here before. Of course, they took it right back and did refunds and exchanges for me. Again, excellent customer service, but another reason I don't buy all my groceries here.

We all know you can get everything from a coffee maker to an eyelash curler here, but the Redmond store's seasonal displays are fantastic. I especially enjoy going in at this time of year (spring) when they've got all their grills, gardening equipment and outdoor furniture on display.
The staff here is also always courteous, helpful and friendly and will help you get heavy items to your car and hard-to-reach items from the shelves.
Overall, an excellent Target experience!

Westminster Chapel is lovely, non-denominational church with a huge congregation and a lot to offer the community. http://www.westminster.org/
Pastor Gary Gulbranson is a dynamic speaker, and his sermons are always given in a Bible study fashion with a "study guide" (for lack of better word) for the congregation to fill in and take home with them. His series on the End Times a couple of years ago was especially compelling.
The children's program is well-staffed and well-organized. The church has phenomenal Christmas programs and concerts. I understand the women's ministry is wonderful as well, although I had no direct experience with it.
All this being said, there were a few drawbacks to Westminster for me. First of all, it was TOO big. It's easy to get lost in the shuffle, especially on Sundays. Second, I found it a bit too fundamental, and that's what led me to continue my search for a church...

Probably more information than anyone needs to know about me, but I recently had to go in for a baseline mammogram.
At the recommendation of a friend, and after being told I couldn't get in for 2 months at the Evergreen Breast Center, I scheduled and appointment at Bellevue Medical Imaging.
Mammograms are certainly not something one looks forward to; however, the staff at BMI seems to "get it." They do everything with care and compassion. They even warm the cover-up drapes for you so you're not putting on some cold piece of cloth.
By far, though, the best thing about this place is that the radiologist gives you your results before you go. No sitting around for weeks waiting, wondering and worrying.

Dr. Susan P. Wynne at Eastside Vision Care is a great eye doctor. http://www.drwynne.com
My nurse practitioner told me at my last physical that, since I've never had one, I should probably go get a thorough eye exam, and she recommended Eastside Vision Care.
When I called to make the appointment, the receptionist was warm and professional and was able to book my appointment within the week. When I needed to reschedule, I had no trouble doing so.
Never having had my eyes checked, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Dr. Wynne explained what she was doing and put me at ease during the exam. I feel that she was quite thorough and answered all my questions satisfactorily.
I don't have to get my eyes checked again for two years, but you can bet that I will return to this practice to do so!
