Tree Top Toys is a wonderful place to look for toys for kids, especially if you'd like to find something a little different for a gift.
They have a great selection of quality toys & games, but what I've been most impressed with is the quality of the dress-up clothing they carry. I've seen everything from pirates to doctors to princesses in this store, including accessories for each costume.
They also carry a good selection of books that you might not find at a larger chain store, as well as unique items like Dr. Suess style birthday hats that you can use each year for your kids.
This little store is a great stop for anyone with kids or who might need to shop for them.

So the Redmond Town Center Gene Juarez is quite nice, the service is fine, and I've received a decent massage here.
To preface my review, I've only had massage here -- not any of the other spa or salon treatments.
The problem with this location, I think, is that it's focusing TOO much on the "chi chi" spa experience and not on the quality of the actual massage. While I think all the sprays and oils and so forth the massage therapist used were fine, I really would have preferred a more straight-forward massage.
I know that service varies from therapist to therapist and spa to spa, but next time I have some money for a massage, I will probably make the trek to Seattle's Gene Juarez and see Lily again. Check out my review on her here: http://www.judysbook.com/members/1219/posts/2005/7/30122/

Friendly staff and pleasant decor are only the beginning. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The yellow chicken curry, shrimp pad thai, and "Nibbler" appetizer plate were all delicious. They were also running a special on a bottle of sauvignon blanc for $14, which made us very happy!
Our server was solicitous but unobtrusive and very professional.
The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star rating is that the restrooms are shared with another restaurant, and you have to walk through Typhoon's sort of "outer kitchen," if you will, to get to them. Kind of strange.

One of the things I miss about eating refined flour is my Sunday morning bagel from Noah's. Located in the Parkplace Shopping Center in Kirkland, Noah's has great bagels, good coffee and friendly, competent service.
Morning business is brisk, as is the lunch rush. Once you've got your bagel & cream cheese or bagel sandwich (they make great ones here), I suggest getting out of the smallish store and dining al fresco at one of the patio tables or walking down to the fountain in front of the theatres to eat.
Wonderful little establishment with tasty food!

Great coffee drinks, delicious sandwiches and pastries are what keep customers coming in again and again. In the cooler months, grab a hot cocoa and sit on the couch in front of the roaring fire. In the warmer months, take your iced tea outside, find a table and people watch. Triple J displays the work of local artists on the wall, so there's always something new to enjoy when you go in.
Friendly, cozy and unique, this is a great little spot to try if you're in the area.

We've only been in for lunch, so it hasn't been crowded at all, we've had excellent service each time we've gone in, and overall, it's been a satisfactory dining experience.
For your typical chain restaurant, I think Olive Garden has hit the mark.

While the food is fine (for a chain restaurant), I have to say that this particular Applebee's location has some of the slowest service on the planet.
My moms' group has gone here after our meetings at a nearby church consistently for the past couple of years or so, and I keep asking myself why. The are always busy at this time of night (about 9:30 p.m. or so), and they are always understaffed when we're there.
The Happy Hour prices on drinks and apps is fine, but if it takes an hour to get them, why bother. I wish we could find a better place in the Factoria area for our after-meeting socializing!

We've had the Yuen Lui family plan for about 4 years now and had used the Bellevue location for years. After our favorite photographer left that store, we decided to try the Redmond location since it's closer.
I was less than impressed. We had multi-generational pictures done with our then 8-month-old and my parents who were visiting from the East Coast. After a very warm sitting, we sat down in the waiting room to wait for our proofs.
They brought them out, and they were *all* completely over-exposed. They wanted to reschedule us for the following week for re-takes; however, my parents would no longer be in town, and just getting everyone coordinated and beautiful (especially with kids) is a feat. I was adamant about getting the photos retaken *that* day, and they finally acquiesced and also, after more irritation on my part, did not count that particular sitting against our plan.
We did end up with beautiful photos in the end, but only after holding my ground and asking them what they'd do for me.
Unless you just can't get to the Bellevue Yuen Lui, I would avoid this location.

Sadly, I can't really write a review of the actual work they do here because the service was so lousy that I didn't even *get* service.
I went into Fatima's one morning needing to get a hook on the back of my swimsuit replaced. It's a small space, and there were two women working behind the counter - one sewing, one talking to the one sewing. They saw me come in. They continued to talk. I waited. Finally, the non-sewer came over and asked if she could help me. I explained that I needed the hook replaced on the back of the swimsuit, and she said, "We don't have those hooks."
End of review.

I think it's probably just because, being from Florida, I'm used to a little more refinement in your average liquor store. For example, I was looking for some mixers, and they didn't have them. (Other than a gigantic jug of margarita mix.) I know I can go right down the street to QFC for mixers, but why should I have to?
I did find what I wanted as far as liquor, but the wine selection was limited and overpriced.
I dunno...I guess it's fine, but it just feels WAY too institutionalized in there for me. (Makes me glad I'm a beer and wine drinker!)
