Decent lunch

Tuesday, August 01, 2006
Cosi is a new restaurant in Redmond Town Center that is very similar to Panera. You order at the counter, pay, then have a seat, and someone will bring you your order. They have a pretty good variety of salads and sandwiches and even pizza. Their "specialty" is their flatbread, which is quite good. Our family had lunch there last weekend, and I ordered their Greek salad with an added chicken breast. (You can get extra protein on any of their salads for $1.50.) The salad was quite fresh and good, but I have to say I didn't get much chicken for my extra $1.50. My husband said his sandwich was mediocre, and the pizza my kids shared was a hit with one and a bomb with the other. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere was fine, although not as cozy as Panera up the street. Overall, a fine dining experience but nothing fantastic.
