I stop here occasionally for take out. It's a great little place to eat in as well. There's a cool bar where you can have a drink before dinner. They have a decent wine list. The fare is fairly typical Asian cuisine, done well and not too pricey.

We recently set up accounts with ETrade for all of our IRA and investment accounts as well as our checking accounts. So far, I'm very impressed.
Setting up or IRA and moving our assets from our previous provider was a snap. I simply provided my account information and login credentials and ETrade did the transfer in a couple of days.
The checking functionality is equally impressive. Setting up automated payments is simple, and ETrade has many organizations' information already there so you only have to provide you account information to schedule the payments.
As is typical, ETrade waives many fees if your balance is substantial enough. Luckily, you get to combine all of your accounts to arrive at that balance.

I stop here frequenly in the morning for my latte fix just because it's convenient and on the way to work. The owner is never friendly, and their lattes are not all that good. The have the normal small selection of pastries, muffins, bagels, scones, etc for breakfast. The coffees are fairly good. They do, however, offer artwork from local artists and children for some interesting ambiance.

I miss several things about working in The City. But I think the most evident is access to Specilty's. They may have the BEST sandwiches I've ever had anywhere. And I've been AROUND! Well, OK. The best sandwiches in the Bay Area, Southwest Indiana and Eastern Missouri, anyway. Several locations to serve the Financial District in downtown SF. I really wish they would branch out, though knowing the Tri-Valley, I understand why they would not. Try anything on the menu and you will be impressed.

I love this little market in Piedmont. It's small, but they have the best selection of fresh fruits, vegetables and meats in the area, I think - short of Berkeley Bowl, possilby. However for us Oakland residents - this is much more convenient. The staff is always great and their outdoor vegetable stand has a farmer's market feel. There's plenty of parking and it's easy to get to off of Hwy 13.

John Wesley at the Prudential office in Montclair represented us in the purchase of our current home. He is absolutely professional and has nothing but his clients' interests as heart. He worked with us to really help us define what is was we were looking for and then held our hands all the way through a rather long and drawn-out close that included the sale of another property. I definitely enjoyed working with John and will do it again when we buy or sell.

This place in the Claremont Resort in the Berkeley Hills has a great patio with a view of the Bay Bridge and city lights. They have nightly live jazz that is good - and I'm not even a big jazz fan. The bar and restaurant are mostly one and the same, so dining can sometimes be a bit loud, but mostly it's a very professional, laid-back crowd.

Not right on campus, so you don't get so much of the college crowd, but it's very much a young and hip crowd.
