i went to ucla for undergraduate and graduate school so let's say that i've been going to diddy riese for the past seven years. although their prices are not as cheap as they used to be (it is still dirt cheap) it's a ucla favorite and you can always find a line especially after the movies. warning that the ice cream sandwiches can make you really hyper with all that sugar!

this place is a find really and i stumbled across it by accident but there's always tons of people because the food is so good and so cheap. i highly recommend the spicy noodle with meat sauce. it's a cold spicy noodle with ground meat. it doesn't sound that great but it's seriously so delicious! the onion pancakes here are also really good.

if you don't like taco bell or even del taco then try paco's tacos because for the same price you'll get much better food. they have a fresh salsa bar and they have specials every day of the week....
