This is a small quaint place near 3rd street promenade in Santa Monica. The breakfast is the only thing I've tried here, but they also served lunch and dinner. The best thing is their specialty blueberry pancakes served with a scoop of blueberry ice cream. They also serve traditional omelette's or regular breakfast item, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. They have an extensive breakfast menu. Parking is street meter. Expect long wait time on weekends.

This place has really vietnamese food. From Pho to rice dishes, this place offers it all. I usually order the rice dishes and rice vermicelli dishes and I have never been disappointed. The wait can be long sometimes but worth the wait, and the turnaround time is quick. Parking can be tight especially around dinner time on weekends, but look on the side streets. I recommend the pork chop rice if you like pork.

Be prepared to wait for a table at this noodle shop. Located in the shopping plaza adjacent to the new Hilton Hotel on Del Mar, this place always has people waiting outside. Although I personally do not think the food is worth what you pay, the quality if not bad. I have had the noodles with tenderous ribs. You can also get it over rice if you prefer. They also serve rolls and appetizers like gyoza. Parking can be difficult, but there is an underground lot.

This place used to be much better run and the taste of the food was better too. Since they changed oweners, the service is not that great, but the food is still the same and the portions are a little larger. You can get authentic Chinese food for take-out. You can also dine-in but most people get it togo. You can get a 3 item combo for less than 4 bucks. They also have Milk Tea Boba for a buck. I recommend the smoked chicken, meatball, and the fried tofu is not bad. Other dishes such as their 3 cup chicken (literal translation from chinese) is also pretty good. Parking is not usually a problem since it's in a huge shopping center, however weekends can get pretty tight. Cash only!

Don't let the name fool you, this place serves pizza and classic vietnamese dishes. This place is always crowded. I recommend the hainam chicken, it's excellent. Parking is limited to street parking. The eating area is small indoors but they offer a nice patio area seating, hopefully it's not too hot. Great place to eat or get take out. There can be a wait especially for dinner.

This is truly one of the best places to go for dessert. You can get ice cream anytime, but this is different. It's yogurt mixed in with toppings or you can get it mixed until it's smooth. They have premade flavors daily such as root beer float, snickerdoodle, some sort of fruit flavor, and usually a chocolate flavor as well. Or you can get plain vanilla yogurt mixed in with topping from fresh fruit to chocolate to cookies to gummi bears. You name it they got it! Reasonably priced and big portions. YOu can also sample the premade flavors. Oh and if you are ordering one of the premade flavors, they offer an express line way down at the cashier end of the line, just bypass all the people waiting to get mix-ins.

This place has been around forever. Ther is always a line even at 11pm. The tacos are really good, not ground beef like some places, they use shredded beef. Burritos are also pretty good. They give chips and salsa, but the guacamole is worth spending the extra bucks for. Excellent! Parking can be somewhat of a problem as the lot is not huge, but there is street parking. Prices are very reasonable and they have an area for dine-in. You can order outside and eat inside or order inside. Just scope out the lines and see which is shorter.

This place serves the best green onion bread/cake I have ever ordered at a restaurant. It's light and crispy, kinda oily, but that just makes it better!! The noodles are ok. Dumplings are pretty good here as well. I would recommend ordering the jellyfish too, it's really good. This place does a good job. Although the wait can get pretty long on weekends, I think it's worth the wait. You can also get take-out if you don't want to wait.

This place offers great cuban sandwiches and pastries. Order a sandwich and some Mariquitas which are homemade plaintain chips, excellent. Then get some desserts to eat or take home. There is a huge selection from fruit tarts to chocolate mousse. Everything is good!! There is also a bakery and cake gallery attached where they offer cakes and breads. Be prepared for the crowds which can get pretty long during lunch hours or on weekends. However, the lines usually move pretty fast as there are usually a lot of workers behind the counter.
