This is a local neighborhood shop that sells sporting goods of all kinds. Friendly people and big selection. This place also sells P.E. uniforms for the local schools in the area. This store has been around for a long time, over 10 years. Lots of locals frequent this shop. It's not as big as some other big chains, but you get more quality customer service and personal attention.

This is one of the true highlights for living in southern california. The Hollywood Bowl offers concert and music series every summer. Tickets are inexpensive if you don't mind sitting a little further away. Most people bring picnic baskets with them and dine before the concert, or you can eat while you watch or during intermission. They also sell food if you like. Parking is a horrible mess due to the stack parking method they employ. There are also lots surrounding the bowl as well. If you truly want to save some bucks on parking, there are several ride and park places. You can look them up on the website www.hollywoodbowl.org

Nowadays no one develops photos anymore, but if you're old school this is the place to go. They do a great job, I personally think it's kinda expensive. They also sell scrapbook materials, cameras, camera accessories, photo albums, and much more. I'm sure by now they should offer digital printing from your camera, but I have not visited in awhile. There's limited street parking out front, but there is a lot in the back.

This used to be my choice of beauty salon where I would go and cut my hair, however ever since my stylist moved, I have not been back. The other ladies are not bad though, although the prices have increased steadily in the last couple of years. The last time I was there haircuts were $30 but that was 2 years ago. The parking lot is small and can get crowded on weekends but there is always street parking.

Nice local family owned dry cleaners that have been around forever. They do a great job and if you need it in a rush, they will try to accomodate you to the best of their abilities. They also do tailoring as well. Reasonable rates and a nice new store as well. The owners work really hard and are nice friendly people. I have never been disappointed.

I always seem to go to this flower shop for graduation flowers. They do a great job everytime. All you do if you don't know what you want, is tell them your price range and what types of flowers you like or want and they will make an arrangement for you. Last time I went my budget was $20 and I got this lovely bouquet with lilies and daisies along with other stuff. It was beautiful. They did in a few hours too. They also do weddings and the special hong kong style roses.

There are many locations, however this one is now considered the outlet store, so things will be cheaper.

This place installed my car speakers for me awhile ago. Nice place to deal with, friendly managers also gave me a discount because I was a repeat customer. Be sure to mention that. They speak Chinese. It's a small place but don't let that fool you. They had my speakers installed in about an hour or so. Not bad for a weekend job.

This is a chinese owned and operated auto repair shop. The owner is pretty friendly and tell you like it is. Oil changes are relatively inexpensive around $14 the last time I went. They try to get you in and out as quick as they can. For major services, I went a couple of times and they did a pretty good job with my old car 1988 Toyota Camry. They always try to help out and assess what is wrong instead of just trying to get you to pay for services you don't need.
