This place offers a great lunch special Monday through Friday. It's about $5.00 for burger, a shake and fries. Not too bad at all. Their service is super quick and there's plenty of metered parking in the area. Breakfast is good too, they serve the typical american breakfast of ham, sausage, eggs, french toast or pancakes with hashbrowns. We go there every once in a while as it's family and kid friendly and very casual.

One of the best places to eat when you're on a budget but don't want to skimp of quality or quantity. The atmosphere here is pretty eclectic and hip. The waiters always greet everyone that comes in or leaves with a loud greeting and they are ALWAYS friendly. It's a pretty good date spot too but remember to come early or plan to wait a long while for a table as they tend to get super crowded. They don't take reservations either. The bento box specials start at about $5.00, which is a super deal for me.

Their food is good and the pricing is pretty consistent with most japanese restaurants. If you're planning a party and want to order a platter, they offer some pretty decent prices on party platters of either sushi combos, cooked sushi combos, or cooked plates of teriyaki chicken or shrimp tempura. They decorate the platters and the presentation is always eye catching. Definately a place to try out when you're in the area.

This place has some killer huge burritos and quesadillas. The service is super quick in a cafeteria style setting and the menu is pretty basic. Nothing fancy but the portions are huge and the price is decent. All orders come with chips but you have to ask for hot sauce/salsa though. The sunset location is always hopping and it's easier and less stressful if you can walk there or take public transportation. They open late too which is a definite plus for the late night snacks.

Gosh, this is one of my favorite places to hang out and have some good authentic enchiladas! While you're waiting for your food, they serve up some chips along with two kinds of salsas and during happy hour, they have some beer and magarita specials. Of course, I never can make it in time for the happy hour specials though! The service does tend to be a little slow as typically there is only 2 waiters but the food is more than worth the wait. Parking is pretty ok too.

They have traditional type sushi as well as quite a bit of exotic sushi rolls to choose from. Their prices are a little above average but the presentation more than makes up for it. The service is super fast and all the workers are always yelling out greetings to everyone. Parking is also super easy on Noriega or the side avenues. Remember to make reservations though on the weekends or holidays as they do get crowded.

This is a really good japanese restaurant that serves some pretty decent food and at a really cheap price. I go here when I want some japanese food and don't have a lot of money to spend. I like their combination lunch and dinners and they have some pretty good chicken teriyaki. The gyoza's a pretty good too. I like the fact that you get seated pretty much almost immediately most days of the week, so if you're starving and don't want to wait for food, this is the place to go.

I absolutely love this place. It is one of my favorite japanese restaurants to frequent. The prices are average but the food is good. The fried oysters are to die for and their sushi selection is very extensive. They offer the traditional bento box for lunch and dinner. Of course, with every good restaurant, remember to make reservations or come early or you'll have to wait quite a while to get seated as it does get pretty crowded. A definite date spot.

If you want a burger that is cooked over a monster rotating flamed grill, this is the place for you. They cook all burgers to order and offer a condiment bar that is always stocked and fresh. The burgers come in 6 oz and 8 oz sizes and you can add on additional toppings to anything on the menu. Their chili fries goes great with the bacon cheeseburger. Only thing is that parking is pretty much non-existent on 9th Avenue, especially on the weekends.

This restaurant offers some really great meals at a great price. Their portions are pretty decent and the fish cake and papaya salad are a few of the 'not to miss' items on the menu. Curries are one of their specialties as well. I would definitely say that this is one place you have to try. It does get pretty crowded on the weekends though, so come prepared to wait. Parking is pretty easy in the evenings. The waiters are really friendly and always have a smile on their face.
