This locally owned and operated convenience store was the only thing out this way when we moved here several years ago. You paid (and still do) quite a bit more for anything but the convenience of not having to drive all the way back to Tampa was worth it. I sometimes stop there out of loyalty.

This is a good dry cleaning shop with decent prices. My wife and I don't usually take many of our clothes or bedding in for a professional dry cleaning, but when we do we can count on these folks. We started going here out of convenience but after using them for a few years I would recommend their services to anyone.

USF seems to really enjoy sending business to this copy shop. They do decent work and as a grad student both my wife and I wound up buying lots of materials from them. Can't say how they are on prices, because I imagine most of the proceeds from the overpriced materials were going back to the professors!

The Saint Petersburg Times is a very good paper. It clearly leans toward the liberal viewpoint but that doesn't matter too much to me. The main problem I have with the Times is that the format of it's TV listings is inferior to that of the Time. I much prefer having everything for a given time on one page rather than having everything for a given channel on one page.

The Tampa Tribune is a very good paper. It clearly leans toward the conservative viewpoint but that doesn't matter too much to me. The main problem I have with the Tribune is that it costs much more than the Times. Both are great papers but the cover price for the Sunday edition is twice the price of the Times.

I would recommend that local businesses consider advertising in this paper, but I would urge the editors to improve their content to get more readers. This one has some potential.

I had dial-up through these guys for several years. Their service is great and their prices are superb. I switched once high speed internet came to town, and have missed them ever since. Somehow they managed to just work and still keep the rates down. I just checked and see that they are offering Fiber, which I guess means they are reselling Verizon's FiOS, and offering lots of dial-up and much more web-space than Verizon so it may be time to switch again!
