Balboa beach is a great place to spend the day in the summer. The weather is just right enough to get a tan, and the water is great for swimming, surfing, etc., and the beach is clean! They also have fire pits--perfect for making hotdogs and s'mores. Theres even local boat rentals for those who like to go fishing. Lets not forget about the carnival just across the way--with tons of fun and exciting amusement park type attractions. Its simply the perfect place for a day in the sun.
