This is an average indian grocery store. It carries the usual items that almost all the indian stores carry. But I find that some prices are expensive as compared to other stores around.
Especially during festivals like Diwali, the festival related items are more expensive as compared to Bharat baazar which is less than a mile away.
I don't usually go to this store for the same reason, but i go once in a while to comparison shop, just for the fun of it.

I am always fascinated when i shop in this store. It is a small grocery store, bursting with so much merchandise that there is not much room to move, but I like the items they sell there. Dried apricots, nuts, lavaash bread, really yummy kulfi faluda, yummy almond cookies, and a ton of other middle-eastern spices and food items. The fresh vegetable section of this store is quite small and does not offer much variety though.
They also have a counter where they sell fresh goat, lamb, chicken, beeft etc. The prices are decent and you can have the meat trimmed as per your liking. They also sell minced meat. That is pretty much the only place where i go to buy goat meat.

This is a small hair salon located near Hollywood video on Paseo Padre road.
What i like about this store most is its staff. They are friendly and hard-working and the customer's satisfactions is their priority. I had good results. The stylist understood what i wanted quickly and the end result was great. The price is decent and they have a lot of happy customers.

When I was new to US, I used to have craving for sweet and sour Indian snacks like "gol gappe". I did not know any place that sold this and was very upset.
Then I was told about this grocery store that also sold golgappe and other snacks and I visited it the same day. I came back very happy.
Apart from the reguler goceries, Dana baazar also sells Indian snacks, rotis and other readymade stuff. They also have a DVD rental counter where you can rent Indian movies. They also sell magazines, apparal, utensils and fashion jewelry.

Last year, for a religious function, I needed a special red cloth called "mata ki chunni". A friend told me about this store and I went there hoping to find something that will do the work. I was surprised when the shop staff showed me about 6 varieties of what i wanted. I was able to bargain a good price and left very satisfied.
They also have a huge collection of indian apparal and fashion jewelry. If you need to attend an Indian ceremony and need a good dress, be sure to check this place out.

Whenever my parents visit US, they often find themselves linking some things that will not work in India due to the diff in power requirements etc.
So I always take them to Kumud Electronics and they try to find the appropriate version of that item that will work in India. Otherwise they try to get an appropriate adapter so that the same thing can be used in India. This store is well known in Asian community for this purpose.
It not cheap, but it gets the work done.

She was happy with his work and trusted his estimates to the extent that when Ron came to check on our plumbing leaks, she approved his estimates without even seeing the problem. She even agreed to his recommendation of changing some of our appliances. During this time, we worked with Ron closely and were happy by his work quality and ethics.
I would recommend Ron to everyone.

For preschool and pre-kindergarten, Stratford offers both half-day and full day programs. Parents may choose among morning and afternoon programs that are two, three, or five days per week and a full day program that is five days per week. Two-day programs are on Tuesdays and Thursdays; three-day programs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; and five-day programs from Monday through Friday. Kindergarten programs are half-day or full day for five days per week, and first through seventh grades are for the full school day and five days per week. Extended care is available both before and after school.
Average Homework Time by Grade Level:
* Preschool and Pre-kindergarten: None
* Kindergarten and First Grade: 30 minutes
* Second and Third Grade: 45 minutes
* Fourth and Fifth Grade: 60 minutes

They did a thorough job. My husband was pleased with the quality of the work performed. Since the insurance company paid for it, we did not have to pay, but when we saw the estimates, we felt that the shop was expensive.
But the quality of work was great.

We got our Honda civic repaired here after a hit and run accident 4 years ago. The trunk was smashed and the frame of the car was bent to the rear doors will open and close with difficulty and the trunk would not close.
Since it was hit and run and we did not have the insurance info of the other guy, our insurance company gave us a lit of auto shops to choose from and we chose to come to this shop after our research.
the staff was great and the mechanics were knowledgable. The car was fixed on time and looked great. We did not have any complaints. The doors and trunk looked as good as new.
