The Art Museum on the U of M campus is outstanding. The only downside I can possibly see to this place is the huge crowds of little, screaming kids they bus in every day. However, once you get past that, and into the double doors, you can see the fine works on art on display. Good place to take a date, but don’t spend too much time there. It’s not very large, but it’s still quite nice.

If you’re a DJ and you’re looking for samples, ones that you think nobody will ever notice, check out this section. So cool. Everything else is reasonably priced as well.

Do not stop here on your way back from Vegas. This is by far the most overpriced, poorly prepared greek food I’ve ever had the displeasure to eat. One gyro (not very large or fresh for that matter) and a plate of soggy fries? $11.00. Oh my god you have to be kidding me. Dead roaches on the bathroom floor, overcrowded, just overall really, really awful. Seriously, you’d have a better experience eating beef jerky at the gas station across the street.

This flower shop is great. I saw their information online through some web flower network and chose them because they are in Santa Monica, and I needed to have flowers delivered to my boss in that part of town. Their prices were totally doable, and I set it up the day before. Then I found out that my boss had left work and I needed to change the delivery address to her home. The owner did it for me without hesitating, truly a good guy and a GREAT business.

Prices could be a lot better, but then again, you’re dealing with a boutique style shop in Hollywood. Also the available sizes are not always perfect.

The good thing about Gil’s bike shop is that they have a great number of people who work there who are also quite knowledgeable and trained when it comes to bikes and biking trails. Not only can they sell you a great bike for a good price, but they can point you in the direction of the nearest trails and bike-friendly areas.

I never have actually been here myself, but I have an aunt who lives out in this area and she was just telling me about how she had to bring her dog here and she absolutely loved the entire staff....

She said the vet himself was very calming (her dog swalloed a chicken bone) and the girls supporting him took the situation very seriously.

I was dragged into this place by my mother who found she really needed a rug that looked like it was 300 years old, for whatever reason. The staff was nowhere to be found and we just looked at stacks of rugs in piles in the corners of the store.

I love this little boutique. I went in here to get my mom some flower’s this past mother’s day and they had the best prices I could find nearby, thank the sweet lord. I didn’t have much money and flowers tend to be expensive, but they really helped me make a good choice on a bouquet that I wouldn’t have otherwise noticed.
