This place has a great deal of stuff as well as the other health and beauty supply places I’ve found. I used to work right near by this store and always found the right hair product for the right price in there. Bed Head products tend to be really expensive, like the one that I normally use which is $18.99, but in Bay Cities, it’s only $14, which is great.

This place is really cool because although it may be really small, they have some of the coolest and rarest dolls and action figures you will find. More of an artsy graphic-novel type of fanbase, not so much the type of collectibles you’d consider antique or anything.. I walked by there the other day on a visit to the Promenade and saw that they have the Gorillaz dolls for a limited time. Awesome.

This place is great for kids and for mothers who want to pick up some cute stuff for their babies. My sister used to love the toys in this place when she was younger but she’s a bit older now, and has outgrown most of their stuff. I’d place the age range at this store at around infant-to-5. Pretty nice selection of different toys.

I love the selection of bonsai trees and other, smaller toy trees they have here. Usually when you try to find a bonsai somewhere else, the price is high due to lack of quantity and they don’t come in really nice pots. Here, they have different types of ceramic pots, most of which are really nice representations of Asian couture.

This is a cool place for all types of people because it’s open very late at night, and also provides a great deal of cool stores to browse during the day. My little sister loves the store that sells Chinese paper supplies because she can get cute school supplies and diaries and such.

I’m not sure if this is the exact State Theater to post under, but it will do. The State is awesome because they have a really interesting interior, much more grandiose than Quality 16 or the other corporate movie theaters. It all looks very regal, which for me, makes a great viewing experience. I love it there.

When I was a freshman at U of M, ,I used to go to this place with the kids who lived in my dorm hall at least twice a week, mostly out of convenience and short walking distance. However, as I grew and my tastes broadened, I found that this theater hosts a number of different events that aren’t limited to just movies. It’s not expensive and will show very independent movies which is refreshing.

I wanted to take a few friends with me to go on Spring Break during my Junior year at U of M, and decided this place may have better commission rates than, say, that place in The Union. I was right, they did, they didn’t charge us a fortune for a group trip, and they were very nice people. I cannot remember the name of our specific agent right now, but she was great.

I absolutely LOVED this place. They helped me out when I had no medical insurance and needed help for a personal problem (injury). I didn’t want to go to the U of M Hospital or anything like that because I wanted a more hands-on treatment. They really showed me how to treat my body and how to avoid future accidents.
