This place is pretty cool, but it’s really small. Due to its “mom and pop” type stature, they tend to have new releases priced at a little above what you would find at a larger, corporate type store. However, they do have cool stuff and older, hard to find records, so it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re on campus.

New York Pizza Depot, better known as NYPD, or pronounced “Nipp-idd” by my friends and myself, is the closest thing native New Yorkers will find to real New York pizza. It’s by far the best pizza in Ann Arbor, and maybe in the Midwest. Good pizza sure is hard to come by and they got it good. Prices could be cheaper.

When I was at U-M I used to take my girlfriend here at least once a week. Both of us were completely obsessed with their unbelievable meatloaf sandwich. They take the best meatloaf I’ve ever had, stick it between two greasy, toasted slices of Sourdough bread, and serve it with great steak fries. It’s Fantastic!

Mr. Spot’s has the BEST WINGS EVER! Only problem is, it’s not totally worth the price. If it were a bit cheaper, I’d eat it at least three time a week, if they weren’t so fattening. However, be prepared to take about half a bottle of pepto afterwards. The sauce is hot and spicy, but still sweet and delicious. Check it out.
