Jake & Telly's Greek Cuisine serves delicious Greek food for a reasonable price. I found the menu to be a bit limited in comparison to other Greek restaurants but you'll most likely find what you want (or something comparable) here. We went here on a Saturday night and it wasn't all too crowded but it wasn't completely empty either, like some of the restaurants nearby. The atmosphere seems a bit more calm here than other Greek restaurants (i.e. no live music) but they do a great job in setting the mood with recorded music and a lively staff. Personally, I've had much better Greek cuisine in the past but Jake & Telly's offers Greek food that cannot be beat in all of Colorado Springs.

Woody's Woodfired Pizza is located in the small city of Golden, CO. Upon entering the establishment, we were immediately seated and we ordered 2 custom made pizzas made fresh out of their wood fired oven. The pizzas had that smokey taste that severely enhanced the taste and I thought the prices weren't all that unreasonable. My only complaint with this place was that the only sizes that they had for pizzas were "Large" and "Individual." I had hoped that they had "Medium" as it was very difficult for 3 people to finish 2 large pizzas but aside from that, I thought the service was good and the food was excellent.
I would highly recommend this restaurant, not just because of their pizzas, but also because of the ambiance of the restaurant. It is a perfect fit nested inside a small city like Golden, CO.

Antlers Hilton, located in Colorado Springs, CO, is a hotel that had disaster written all over it from the start.
We exited the freeway and we were able to find the hotel without a problem. However, we had to circle the entire building before we found the underground hotel parking. When we checked in, we were informed that there was a $8.50 parking charge (per day) for parking in the underground hotel parking structure. I could understand hotels charging for parking if it was located in a city where public parking is scarce but the hotel's surrounding areas were spacious and the city, in general, wasn't very crowded at all. Not to mention, when we booked the hotel, we were never told that there would be a parking charge. This was unethical on their part and needless to say, none of us were all that thrilled to have to pay for parking at a hotel that we were staying in. After checking in, we were then told that the doors to the hotel rooms were malfunctioning so that the "engineer" had to fix the rooms before we could get a door card. We had to wait 15 minutes before someone escorted us to our room and then shortly, someone came by to give us the door card after programming it. The "engineer" informed us that we were entitled to 1 card (instead of 2) because the doors were giving him a problem. From what I gathered, the only problem was that the hotel failed to pre-program the door cards for their guests and called it a problem because of their negligence.
We entered our room after this terrible wait only to find a small room with 2 beds and extremely thin walls. Needless to say, I was NOT impressed and Antlers Hilton left a sour taste in my mouth for the grief that we had to endure. I would never, in a million years, stay at this hotel again and I would recommend everyone against staying at this pathetic excuse for a hotel. You're better off staying at a motel!

Old House Restaurant & Tavern is located in the beautiful pueblo-themed city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The restaurant is operated (from 5:30PM to 10:00PM) inside the upscale Eldorado Hotel ($215-$1500/room for 2 people, according to AAA) and it is recommended, although not required, that diners dress in a business casual attire. The limited items on the menu, individually, range anywhere from $12-$30 or the sampler, which consists of a 5 course meal, can be ordered for $50 (or $80 with wine).
Personally, I was not happy with this restaurant for several reasons.
1. The prices were outrageous but I suppose that's expected.
2. Even though the food tasted GREAT, the portions were tiny. Needless to say, everyone in my party were hungry after throwing down $30 each for our dinner platter.
3. According to AAA, this restaurant served Southwestern cuisine AND it accepted the AAA discount. We were informed that the menu changes regularly and the day that we dined, there were little to no Southwestern items on the menu. After our meal, we were also told that they no longer accepted the AAA discount.
4. Customers are paying for the ambiance and the experience, not the food itself (even though the food is prepared by a group of "renown chefs").
This restaurant is recommended for dinners with business associates but I would highly not recommend this restaurant for the entire family for the reasons mentioned above.

Dara Thai is located in downtown Flagstaff and serves excellent thai cuisine at a reasonable price. The waiters and waitresses were kind in assisting us and the cooks did a great job in getting my friend's "specialized" order correct. The items on the menu range anywhere from $6 to $20 and the portions that they serve are more than generous for a Thai restaurant. Rice, to go along with the curry, is $1.00 for the entire table and each additional bowls of rice thereafter is free of charge. I found this restaurant in the AAA's Arizona-New Mexico travel book and even though AAA rated this restaurant "2-diamonds" (out of 4), I thought the staff were friendly, the food was excellent, the serving portions were large, the prices were reasonable, and the ambiance gave this restaurant the authentic flavor that many seek in a Thai restaurant.

Cafe Vui is a Vietnamese cafe where people can come to relax, sip on some drink, watch television on their flat screens, or even play video poker and other games for prizes. The blasting music, the crowd, ranging in all ages, and the waitresses give this place a youthful, a fun, and a hip atmosphere all-in-one.
While this place is geared towards the Vietnamese crowd, this place isn't exclusively for the Vietnamese speaking customers. Just bring your friends, a deck of cards, and sip on a drink while you enjoy the company of those around you. They have excellent customer service and they just added wireless internet. Come check it out!

Joy Salon is located in Pomona, CA and is run by a Korean lady. If you're hesitant to going because of the possible language barrier, not to worry! She speaks English and she is very chatty with her customers. As some may be aware, I've had a terrible haircut experience from a place that I had visited over a month ago. Therefore, I was cautious about picking a random barber or a hair salon out of a book and wanted to go by word-of-mouth. There is this old lady who frequents this place and she said that even though this place is only run by the owner, the quality of service is top notch. She was right! I was REALLY satisfied with my haircut and she washed my hair twice, unlike some places that won't even wash it once! She cut my hair quickly, yet carefully, and asked after the cut if I was satisfied. I told her I was satisfied and I plan on visiting this place again.
Men's haircut is $15 but I am unsure about the cost of women's haircut. Be sure to call and make an appointment before you go! If you don't, you may be sitting there for a long time just waiting for your turn.

Conveniently located at the Tustin MarketPlace, Macaroni Grill is a great place to go for dinner. The prices aren't extremely high and what I enjoy the most is the "Create your own pasta" that they offer there. I usually get that and with the endless supply of their tasty, yet fattening, bread that they provide, there is no reason why anyone can't get full off of the food there. The waiters are clean cut and the waitresses are neatly groomed. Considering that this place is located in the busy Tustin MarketPlace, you may have to wait awhile to get a seat if you go there for dinner on a Friday or a Saturday.

Caspians is offers tasty Persian foods, loud music, and belly dancing on the weekends. For those of you who're seeking a nice quiet environment to enjoy your meal, Caspians is probably not the place for you on the weekends. The portions that they offer are large and the foods that they provide are top quality. Personally, I love how they cook their chicken shish kabobs but people have reported that their chicken breasts are way too dry for their taste.
When entering Caspians, I would suggest dressing in something better than shorts and a t-shirt, such as a collar shirt with khakis. I felt out of place when I was in my jeans and t-shirt during dinner time. I thought the price of their dishes weren't extremely high but then again, they're not exactly cheap either. You have to pay if you want quality!

I went into Econo Lube N' Tube for an oil change one day because it was conveniently located close to my workplace. I got my oil change and about a month later, I needed to open up my hood because I was getting some warning lights on my dashboard. I went to go open my hood and I noticed that my hood would not open. I tried and tried but the lever would not open the hood. I took it to my mechanic and he told me that the mechanism that makes the hood open has been broken and there was no way to open the hood at its current condition. The people at Econo Lube N' Tube failed to notify me that the latch was broken and without a doubt, slammed the hood and mistreated my car.
Needless to say, I spent over $200 to have my mechanic break the grill in front of my car to get my hood opened and to also fix my hood. My oil change, in the end, costed me well over $200. These people were VERY unprofessional and they weren't exactly the kindest people either.
I would give this establishment a zero star if I could!
