Ka Hwa, located in Diamond Bar, is a Korean BBQ restaurant where you could order various meats or even Korean-style hot pot. I went here on Saturday night and ordered seafood hot pot (hehmuljeongol) for three people, which was more than enough for everyone. The seafood hot pot had udon noodles, tofu, mushroom, fish, Korean squash, crab, squid, rice cake, and more! If you're not in the mood for pure meat, I would recommend this dish as an alternative.
Like other Korean restaurants, this restaurant serves unlimited side dishes. If something runs out, all you need to do is ask for more. Again, like many Korean restaurants, the problem with this restaurant is that the waitresses are shorthanded and are extremely busy. Don't assume that you're getting terrible service because it seems like all Korean restaurants are like this on any busy night.

I visit this 24 Hour Fitness most frequently. I try to avoid this gym after work because:
1) This gym isn't very big and it can get very crowded.
2) The parking is terrible! I've actually turned away from this gym because I couldn't find parking anywhere.
If you're looking to avoid the crowd, visit this gym during lunch time (or really late, if you can) when you'll encounter the least number of people crowding the gym. This gym features a second story with all the cardio equipment, from treadmills, steppers, exercise bikes, and even threadclimbers! This gym went through some renovations (mostly for esthetics) so it doesn't look and feel as old as other 24 Hour Fitnesses that I've visited in the past.

Since I don't have a Sports membership, I enjoy working out at this 24 Hour Fitness where Active memberships are valid. I first started working out at this gym many years ago and I am very impressed with all the work that they've done over the years. They've expanded the gym, purchased new equipment, moved the "Group X" room to a different location of the room to make room for the treadmills, installed televisions, and more.
While this 24 Hour Fitness has its many benefits, it also has many downfalls. For instance, the gym is almost always crowded because of its location -- but I suppose that statement can be made about any gym. While this gym purchased new equipment, most of their equipment is still very old (i.e. everything in the free weights room). In addition, the room with the free weights is often the most crowded room of the entire gym. However, the other parts of the gym remains relatively uncrowded and the number of treadmills (and other cardio machines) helps to offset the over-crowdedness of this gym and it makes working out, even at the busiest time, quite enjoyable.

Mako Sushi is located in Los Angeles' "Little Tokyo". The sushi (especially the sashimi) is top quality that'll melt in your mouth. My friends and I joked about how this place even had soy sauce and wasabi that can't be beat. The downside of Mako Sushi is their menu price. Be prepared to spend a LOT of money for the quality that you'll be getting here because if your goal is to get full, it's going to cost you. I spent $35 (~$40 after tax and tip) on a sashimi plate that felt more like an appetizer than a meal so my advice is to eat before you arrive unless you plan on dropping down a fortune to get completely full.

I recall shopping at this OfficeMax and I, an OfficeMax Perks customer, had a coupon for a software title that only had me paying a fraction of the total cost of the item. The store manager completely freaked out, accused me of using a fake coupon, and refused to sell me the item. First off, it's not my problem that the manager is too stupid to know that OfficeMax Perks customers are periodically given coupons. Second, it was THEIR OWN COUPON! It's not like I altered it with a fake barcode, printed it, and then tried to pass it off as a real coupon.
To make the story short, I would never shop here ever again. My advice is to shop on-line or go to a different OfficeMax.

President Thai Cuisine is a restaurant for those seeking true authentic Thai cuisine at a reasonable price. With the combination of good food and reasonable prices, it's no wonder this restaurant is always packed with customers on any day of the week. I especially love their curry dishes as they pack a bit of sweetness in them that makes them quite unique to other Thai restaurants.
The waitresses are very courteous to their customers and even though the restaurant is packed with customers, they still find ways to drop by to see if you need your glass refilled or if you would like you order anything else. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at this President Thai. My only complaint about this restaurant is that it is along-side a large street, which makes street parking less than ideal, and their customer parking lot is a bit small for the capacity of customers that this restaurant can accommodate.

Are you tired of paying an arm and a leg for tires? Are you tired of tire companies tricking you into paying for something that you don't need? Look no further! Tucker Tire Company is the place to go for all your tire needs. Don't trust small businesses? Tucker Tire has been in business for many years and there's no indication that they're ready to stop.
I had a flat tire the morning before and I was running on a spare tire. I had asked to replace all 4 tires on my car because I didn't want to replace just one tire and the owner told me that my tires had a good 6 months left on them. He asked me if I wanted to buy one used tire so that I can get my tires replaced 6 months later. I had told him that I still had my old flat tire and he promptly took my tire and patched it up. I went to the counter to pay for his services and he told me that it was free of charge. I wasn't even charged for the labor that was put into fixing my tire! Not only that but I have never shopped at Tucker Tire so it wasn't as if I had done business with them in the past.
Needless to say, I will be back there to do business with them once my tires wear out. Tucker Tire will provide you with free tire rotation and balancing services as long as you own their tires. Considering how cheap their tires are, it's no wonder that they're so busy! There is a Costco across the street and even the Costco members come to Tucker Tire to get their tires replace instead of getting them replaced there. In my books, honesty goes a long way and they made a future customer out of me.

I stayed at this hotel because they had a AAA membership discount. After booking the room, I found out that Albuquerque (or maybe New Mexico, in general) charge over 12% in sales tax on top of the cost of the room.
Comfort Inn West was a bit difficult to find because Iliff Rd was a small street and it was not accessible from both sides of the street. The Inn offers their customers free continental breakfast from 6am until 9am while their checkout time is at noon each day. The rooms are large and the beds were great; however, the bathroom was small and the walls were VERY thin. You definitely get what you pay for so stay here if you are on a tight budget or if you're a AAA member looking to save some money.

This Cheesecake Factory is located deep in downtown Boulder, just walking distance away from University of Colorado at Boulder. I was pleasantly surprised that Boulder had a Cheesecake Factory as this is one of my favorite restaurants to go for a meal.
Boulder's Cheesecake Factory was nice and clean; however, the facility was extremely small and I felt seriously cramped while walking to the restroom. The food tasted great and I had the luxury of ordering a 3/4 portion for lunch at a reduced price from the dinner menu.

Courtyard by Marriott is located at the western edge of Denver near Golden, Colorado. It is conveniently located away from other businesses but it is also located very close to the freeway. Depending on the location of the room, you may experience loud road noises during the night.
Pro's: Rooms are clean, the curtains are heavy and blocks out all sunlight, the bathroom is spacious, indoor pool access, gym access, remote location, short distance away from Golden and Denver, plenty of parking spaces, friendly staff.
Con's: Road noise from freeway, pricey (for a Marriott), no free breakfast.
