Pricey

Sumo has increased its price and if it weren't for the all-you-can-eat sashimi, I would never go. The sushi isn't top quality but what can you expect from a sushi buffet? The shrimp cocktail is gross along with most of the deserts. Don't even bother with the fried foods off to the side because you'll just end up wasting your money.
Most importantly, go there a minimum of 2 hours before they close. They stop cutting sashimi over 1 hour before closing time and they stop refilling the sushi then, as well. It irritates me how paying customers, who've all dished out a lot of money to eat at Sumo, are left with nothing to eat when it's close to closing time. Since it is a buffet, we decided to leave very little tip once. The waitresses kept glaring at us and looking at our table to see if we were leaving more money. I thought that was VERY rude of them and highly unprofessional. Did they really expect a 15% tip? We served ourselves!
