Shell Cellar is a pretty neat store. They have some interesting items made of seashells. They also sell starfish, corals sponges and other merchandise from the sea. They even sell jewelry made of shells. My kids liked touching all the different seashells and I ended up a few dollars short by the time we left the store.

It is nice store, usually bustling with lots of tourists that are browsing for a souvenir to take home. Their merchandise spill out their front door and the salespeople are walking around smiling at the shoppers.

The Cable Car store sells everything that has to do with the San Francisco cable cars. They sell little replica cable cars as well as mugs, pictures and such souvenir and gifts items. The store gets a little crowded from tourists but it's worth browsing in just to see pictures of the old, antique cable cars.

Houdini's Magic Shop was a fun place to browse around in. My kids loved all the merchandise that they had displayed. Everything your eyes can see are interesting and I couldn't help touching and looking at the items they were selling. The salespeople were very nice as well and smiled a lot. They even showed us how some of these stuff worked.

Krazy Kaps is a fun store to browse through. The have a large selection of hats like the mad hatter's hat from alice in wonderland and hats that have dreadlocks attached to them. We had a hilarious time trying all the different hats although they did not have mirrors that were large enough to look at yourself with.

The Riptide Arcade is located right the entrance to Pier 39 on the right side. It is a pretty large arcade store with a large selection of arcade games to choose from. It isn't very crowded either because most people spend their time browsing around the retail shops and just enjoying the views of the bay. There are a lot of tourists but they rarely go into this place.

I took my wife to the Blue Violet Mansion as a surprise for her birthday and we both had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. The mansion is beautiful architecturally and the grounds are also beautiful. The inside of the mansion is spectacular with works of art on the ceilings. Our room was very cozy and luxurious and we were treated like royalty.

This is a nice sciences museum. But I do like the old one better. I liked the building it was in and the location was better at the Golden Gate park because I was able to find free parking there. This one in San Francisco forces you to park your car in one of those parking garages that charge you an arm and a leg for just one hour.

This museum is located across the street from Yerba Buena and is a few blocks away from the BART Powell Street station. It is a very nice museum with beautiful works of art some of which are by local artists. I was not one for modern art really but I was talked into going by my wife and I kind of enjoyed myself.
