This cooking school is in the historical Greystone mansion. It is a beautiful building. Inside they have a small museum of showcasing some olden machineries and tools used in the past for making wine. There is a shop that sells all a chef would need in the kitchen and souvenirs. They also offer a one hour cooking class for visitors. It's a pretty neat place.

But the more often we went to see the better I understood her and began to like her. She always behaves professionally and once you get to know her more you will realize how much of an expert she is in her field of work.

Rapids Water Slides is a great water park to go to with the family. They have some waterslides but I think it's so great because it is also a park with barbeque pits and picnic tables. They also have a fresh water lake where the kids loved to go swimming. They also have boat paddling available at the lake. Just a great place with lots of activities to offer.

I finally went to Dolan's lumber just to compare them to the larger places like Home Depot. It's a relatively small store almost like a house rather than a lumber retailer. Behind the store though they have a large yard with stacks of lumber of varying types. Their prices are decent and you get a lot more customer service.

Niebaum-Coppola Winery is a wonderful place to visit. The grounds are beautiful and the main builing has a museum showing off the works and movie collections owned by the famous movie director Mr. Coppola. The desk from the Godfather movie is there and costumes from the movie Dracula were just a couple showcased there. Downstairs is a store selling their wine and offer wine tasting.

The Oldfaithful Geyser was an interesting site to see. There is a fee to enter through their gift shop. They have some goats there too on the side on the way to where the geyser is. The geyser shoots up every 15-20 minutes or so, so you have to wait a bit to see it. They do have some picnic tables to sit at while you wait.

My wife and I went to this bed & breakfast on our honeymoon. It is a beautiful white house towered over with elm trees. We stayed in the carriage house which was detached from the main house. It was nice and cozy although the bed was creeky and the middle sunk in. The free continental breakfast was delicious though and was served in the dining room in the main house.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a great place to go with kids. It's a huge aquarium. They even have place where you can watch a diver feed the sea creatures. My kid was a little scared of the dark areas though where she just cried. But my kids really liked the splash zone area where they had a lot of interative activities for them with waterplay and a bouncing area.

When my wife dragged me into this store I couldn't comprehend why they would have a store devoted solely to oils. But I was quickly enlightened when I went inside. They have some wonderful scented oils and some beautiful containers. They also carried bath accesories like bath salts, shampoos and incense, although I didn't much the incense.
