Stop by Cacti's on Broad in Bristol for some great mexican dishes. Whether you like it spicy or mild, Cacti's has something for everyone. They offer a full bar and take-out.
I had been planning a get together and didn't know what their menu was like so I stopped in and they gave me one of their nice menus to take home and return when I came to place my order. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is casual and inviting.

Whether you are wanting seafood, pizza, or their delicious Chicken Parmesan... there is something at Oasis for everyone. They serve Espresso, liquor and have a great selection of desserts as well. And if you are in need of a great facility to book a party, Oasis has a private hall that is great for any occasion.

Lake Compounce is a great family fun park. There are plenty of rides and attractions (including a water park) and the price is great. For the price of two admissions you can get a season pass. Some people think it is expensive and would rather pay more to go to somewhere like Six Flags where you get far more rides... but Lake Compounce is local, clean, and the lines are far less. So if you have a group of little kids with you, Lake Compounce is going to be far easier to please everyone.

Pleasant Valley Drive-In is one of the few drive-ins left in Connecticut. It is a one screen drive-in which offers clean restrooms and an inexpensive and variety filled concession stand. The movies change regularly, and are the blockbuster hits you find at the local theater. The radio tuned audio (no speaker boxes) comes in clear and the video quality is great. There is a lot of run around space for children and dogs before the show, and the crowd is usually pretty substantial (get there around 7 if you want a good spot). I go quite often, it is a great night out.
