Abacus didn't live up to its proclaims. Our table was not ready upon arrival. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated for our reservation - with no recompense. Where I come from, if your reserved table it not ready, you are offered a drink on the house or complimentary dessert or something. The decor was nice, however, it was far too noisy for anything romantic or even conversation that was not screaming. If I were to return, I'd bring a group of people. The food was good, if you have not had anything better before. The Lobster Shooters were the best thing we had. The entrees (Diver Scallops and Jumbo Prawns) were "all-right" - I've definitely had better Asian fusion in town. The food was over-seasoned, taking away from the inherent flavor of the seafood. The Truffled Mac-N-Cheese, not as great as it sounded, but worth a try.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this particular store. The staff and owner was extremely helpful and not at all pushy. She asked a lot of questions then narrowed down the options for the stuff I was looking for! Has a lot of different stuff, including Vera Bradley bags and luggage. I'm definitely going back when I run out!

The TASTING ROOM's Chef David Uygur can make a sugar snap pea into a bite-size symphony of savory goodness! Having dined there several times, I have eaten things I never KNEW to like, lapped them up and wished for more. Each time, I was seated promptly, served at my own dining pace by attentive waiters who knew the menu and stories behind the "bites" and wines and enhanced my dining experience by sharing them. This is the place I come for extra special occasions for assured excellence in dining without pretense. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Comparing with a standard good chinese restraunts, their food is terrible, and way over price. For real food lover, I would not recommend this restraunt. They are just for the look. Honestly, I can make fried rice better than those guys. Fried rice is the basic of chinese food. if they can't even do a good job on that. They are not worth trying. stay away from them. It's just another fake chinese restraunt trying to rib off people.

The menu features New American comfort food that pleases both the red-meat crowd and lighter eaters. Baked stuffed artichoke with Parmesan cheese and lemon-butter sauce is rich enough to be more than an appetizer, but is a nice match with Maguire's salad, dressed with sweet vinaigrette, toasted pecans, blue cheese and crisp apples. The beef tenderloin is topped with roasted red bell peppers, mushrooms, blue cheese and a cream-based sauce. Dijon mustard-seed gravy is a tangy twist on the classic chicken-fried chicken. Apple tart has marzipan in the pastry crust, a delectable addition.

Republic excels at frozen cocktails. A frigid take on a cosmo enhances the original's sweetness. A frozen mojito delights with its thick sugarcane swizzle stick and invigorating lime-rum-mint iciness.

My fiancé and I were trying to find a place to eat; when we stumbled upon one of Dallas’ best kept secrets. My finance started with the spinach and goat cheese strudel and I had the blackened shrimp, both were pleasing and flavorful but not so filling as to ruin what was yet to come. For the main course my fiancé had their signature dish the Sea Bass; it was perfectly prepared and the lime ginger sauce was delicious. I chose the Australian Lamb on cous cous. Interesting to say the least, this dish is something I would have never tried but I will order time and time again. To finish we split the Valhrona Torte that was moist and delicious. Before leaving we ventured onto the covered patio for an after dinner drink. It was a great ending to an extraordinary dining experience.
