Not only Tuesdays 11/8/2006

I usually don’t go into this store because the last couple times I’ve been I got overwhelmed at the lack of organization of this place, but I was just there yesterday with a friend and then later yesterday evening with my sister because they both were looking for something that caught their attention from the circular. At any rate, the place is still disorganized but, I must say, they do have a lot of stuff for good prices. Well, I should say *decent* prices. I still think some of their product offerings are on the expensive side, but they do have a lot of stuff that you just won’t find at other off-price retailers like Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, Ross, etc. For example, my mom is a seamstress and I bought this cute little mini vac that is powered by two AA batteries and is used to pick up stray thread and such. I think my mom will get a kick out of it. And if she doesn’t want to use it at work, she can always use it to pick up crumbs from the dinner table. I think Tuesday Morning is more of a toys and house wares place. They did have some infant/toddler clothing, but mainly stuff for the house. They already have Christmas stuff out and they have some really cute cards. I also was impressed to see some stuff from Fitz and Floyd. They’re soup bowls that look like pumpkins that sit on a separate leaf plate and there’s also a matching soup tureen with ladle. Hard to describe but I want it! LOL But not for $300 for a set of four. (They were sold à la carte.) But I digress. This is not my first place to shop, but I’ll keep it in the back of my mind when I want to find a unique item for a decent price. And by they way, am I the only ‘tard that didn’t know Tuesday Morning is called Tuesday Morning because they restock on Tuesday mornings? LOL I guess I don’t pay attention that much because I rarely shop there. more
