I tried this place out a few years ago with a dining certificate from SouthFloridaDines ( http://www.judysbook.com/members/11971/posts/2006/9/461938/ ) and thought it was good for the money, but the restaurant itself seemed a little skeevey.
I just went back two nights ago because I picked up a coupon for a BOGO free entree and the inside of the restaurant is totally different -- much more "sunny" like the name implies.
The only snafu I had was that my salad was old. I picked at it but couldn't bring myself to eat it. When I put it aside, I was promptly offered a new salad.
I'm not sure what nights, but they also have live music. When we went they had music playing -- sounded like Sinatra or something, but not live. They also have several TVs running -- I think all of them were on CNN.
Still not bad for the money, and the ambiance is much nice. If I was in the area, I wouldn't mind going back.

Years ago there used to be a Sal's in the same plaza as my neighborhood Publix and after hearing rave reviews, I decided to give it a try. Ew. I thought everyone was hyping up nothing. I remember ordering the chicken marsala (I have since sworn off all 'shrooms) and did not like it at all.
Fast forward to 2006.
I'm not sure if the one near my apartment closed because of poor location (it's actually a great restaurant location) or poor service or poor food. But I went to a Sal's in Boynton (too lazy to create an entry for Boynton -- sorry) with my sister and her kids and it was SO good!
Granted, the place is smaller than a Palm Beacher's walk-in closet, but the food is great. If you like garlic, you'll LOVE the garlic rolls. I try to duplicate it at home and still haven't hit it.
My sister and I ate so much we made ourselves sick. Or at least I did. I should have stopped eating, but it was so good, I couldn't! We ordered a pasta dish and a pizza and still had leftovers. So did the kids. Or at least her son did -- he stopped eating his lasagna and finished off his sister's pasta.
What I thought was really cool was that the waiter brought out pizza dough for the kids to entertain them while the food came out. Much cleaner (and cooler) than Play Doh.

Okay JB, is REALLY pissing my off right now! I just made a lengthy review as to why I don't like this place and will never recommend this place, and now it's GONE!
All I will say now is that the food made me ill and the service was still lacking. (The http://www.judysbook.com/members/11971/posts/2006/9/452644/ to my original review of this place.) Top that all off with the server spilled a large ice cold Coke all over me, and you can bet I will *never* go eat here again.
To add insult to injury, we still had to pay for our meal and the "manager" (come to find out via a business card that the woman is 'just' the party coordinator) and the nerve to give us a $10 dining certificate to go back. I was totally expecting them to comp my meal so I wouldn't have to *ever* go back.
I was so miserable on the ride home. If it was plain ice water maybe I wouldn't have been so annoyed, but the stickiness I had to endure against my skin, all over my shoes, and my purse was enough to make me decide that I never want to eat here again. And I will tell others not to as well.
No idea what we're going to do with the certificate. Maybe go to a different location just for drinks. At the bar so there is no server. How can they screw up drinks?

If you're into photography, there are plenty of opportunities for a great shot -- whether you're photographing the orchids in the greenhouse, or taking portraits in the garden.
There's also a gift shop (isn't there always?) where you can purchase stationary supplies, and knick-knackity garden themed stuff.

Good Golly Miss Molly this stuff rocks!
You can sample all of the daily flavours and for about $2 enjoy your own "kiddie" size (they're quite big) serving.
They also serve Nathan's hot dogs, so you can grab a quick easy lunch and dessert and enjoy it in a cool atmosphere -- it's a jungle/island theme.
They also have a punch card -- after 10 purchases, you get a free pint (I think it's a pint, anyway). I love punch cards....

I love Target (heck, as I write this it's past midnight, but I'm trying to get my last monthly CE reward which is a GC to Target), but this Target S-U-C-K-S! It routinely smells of urine (or like something died), the people who work there are rude (especially the ones I've come in contact with the last couple of weeks), and you just feel all around dirty when you leave the store.
I finally had enough of the rude CSRs that I called the (800) guest services number to complain. I won't go into detail here, but the manager was just as rude as the CSR behind the returns desk which prompted me to call. To add insult to injury, the supervisor on the phone was just as rude as the CSRs in the store.
All I can say is that it's a good thing that I love Target and I'm willing to see if corporate actually does something about the store and its employees. I guess I'll give it a couple months and see.

The service has gotten much better since the last time I was there ( http://www.judysbook.com/members/11971/posts/2006/12/499487/ ), but the store layout still sucks. Honestly, this *is* a kids store. People *will* be pushing strollers -- are they aware of that?!
At any rate, I was just in the store (with the same friend and her toddler) a couple days ago and the women behind the counter were so much nicer. I actually bought stuff and the service was noticeably much better. I think they hired new people.
I actually lost my cell phone in the store but didn't notice until we were leaving the mall (we were back in our cars). PBK was the first store I went to look for it, being that it was the first store I was in. Sure enough, they found my cell phone and actually locked it up behind the counter by the registers. The women were so nice and even swapped their own lost cell phone stories.
Now if only they would hire more employees like these women for more coverage and make wider aisles, this would be a great place to shop. If you had the money, that is.

For those not in the know, Party Lite is like other networking, home-based businesses like Tupperware or Pampered Chef. With that in mind, let me tell you that I'm not a consultant nor do I personally know anyone that is.
Last fall I was invited to three different candle parties presented by two different consultants and let me tell you, the right consultant totally make the difference. Granted, if you're familiar with the company, these candles pretty much sell themselves.
Anyway, for those that aren't familiar with this company, Party Lite candles are known for their long-lasting scents and their "burn throughout" quality. Not sure, but I think it's because they're made from paraffin wax -- which makes for real easy clean up if/when necessary. They also liquefy so make sure you burn them in an appropriate container.
Word of caution: like Tupperware and Pampered Chef items, these candles are not cheap but do have a great warranty like the other companies. If your candle doesn't burn properly or a holder cracks or breaks, you can call your consultant for a replacement.
BTW, I had no idea how to list this business but the company website lists MA as a corporate address -- at least I think. ( http://www.partylite.us/detaillg/lang_us/page_locations/sectname_about/subsect_nosub.htm )

These pretzels are so yummy! They're even better if you can get one fresh out of the oven. So good you can pee your pants!
I usually like to buy the regular salted ones and then pick off the salt (tastes better than getting an unsalted one altogether), but the almond ones are pretty good too -- if you like sweet flavours, anyway.
If you like hot dogs then you'll *love* their pretzel dogs. They wrap the pretzel dough around a hot dog. Yuh-mee!
They also have pretzel sticks (alright, but not my cup of tea), pretzels in a bunch of other flavours, a soda fountain, lemonade, and Dutch ice (slushy-type drinks).
Oh, and they also have a frequent buyer program -- you buy six pretzels and the seventh is free.
I've been to the Palm Beach Gardens, Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach locations but have only lucked out at this location (PBG) in getting fresh out-of-the-oven pretzels.

Kirkland's has some great stuff to decorate your home and it's not that expensive. It's even better when you can get the stuff on clearance -- they have some really good prices when the stuff goes on clearance.
This particular location in Legacy Place just opened up this fall so they don't have much by way of clearance merchandise yet, but as always, prices are very good.
I like that the sales people are super nice here too. At least they were the last time my sister and I were there (just before Thanksgiving). This location is also pretty big, so there's a lot of merchandise.
The only thing I don't like is that the merchandise is all over the place. It's like they have too much stuff and not enough space. Because of that, it's hard to navigate the store -- especially with a stroller. (My sister has two toddlers, and this store is not conducive to mother's with small children.) And this is not just at this location --every Kirkland's I've been to is like this. So just go prepared.
