I had the opportunity of dining at Tru while at a seminar in Chicago. Reservations are required as are jackets for men. The restaurant was simply outstanding. I had the chef tasting menu. While it is expensive (One Hundred Twenty Five Dollars - before tax and tip), it is also fantastic. There must have been at least 7 courses if not more. The food ranged from caviar to beef to a vast selection of cheeses to unbelievable deserts. This was truly a 5 star experience.
